How was the ppv?

Nobody's talked about it?

What does that tell you?

SuperSlim 05-23-2005 11:18 AM

I've heard mixed reviews about it

I havnt been to WWE.com yet but I did read a rundown of it on another website...

The main event sounded pretty horrible.

Low expectations let this be a decent show, sans Happyreich vs. Buckwheat

It was entertaining... not that great though. Cena v.s JBL was really good, I rated it 3 3/4 stars... Rey v.s Eddie was pretty good as well, I rated it 3 1/2 stars. Everything else was ok, nothing was bad.

PorkSoda 05-23-2005 02:55 PM

It was alright. Mysterio/Eddie could have been better. It was mostly all Guerrero and it seems like WWE were just proving how tough Mysterio is.

Cena/JBL was good, the bladejobs really made it look like something, but its forgettable. WWE should know that if they want to make a match thats brutal then you dont need to have both guys do a serious bladejob with blood running down their faces. Like the Mankind and Rock I Quit match was pretty brutal and there was blood, but just a gash on Mick's forehead. The Mankind/Undertaker Hell in a Cell was brutal because of the bumps Mankind took and how the match was paced, and Taker just had a gash on his forehead. Yeah, blah blah blah.

SuperSlim 05-23-2005 03:21 PM

But notice who took the sick chair shots and bumps... MIck Foley. No way Cena or JBL could take those sort of bumps /chair shots and still continue on with the match. So they had to do what they had to do.

At least I actually made it while everyone sat around twidling their thumbs.
