The return of Billy Gunn has promted this thread. I have to say it - I like Billy Gunn. There, I've said it - I've always found him enjoyable - Billy & Chuck was hilarous to me. I also like the coach since his heel turn (as long as he ain't commentating). So what do other people like that goes against common sense/opinion?

I like A-Train. To an extent anyway. And I loved X-Pac. :$

Yeah Nathan Jones had a great character and I loved his theme and how he walked to the ring like he was going to kill somebody. I always tend to like the pychopath kind of characters in wrestling.

Just a question, but why shouldn't you like these people?

Anyways, I have to admit I've almost always been a mark for Goldberg. And the Warrior......in 98.

The point of the thread was just to discuss people who we like that are generally hated by the wrestling society as a whole

I really liked the Scott Steiner versus Triple H match at Royal Rumble 2003, I know most of you refer to that as a crap fest but if it wasn't on the same card as the Kurt Angle versus Chris Benoit classic it would have benn match of the night.

So basically, it's just like the thread "Wrestlers you like but everyone else hates?" Only with the premise that you're very concerned about peer pressure?

Alright, I'm not going to be a dick, I have to admit you flipped the script on me (wow I never thought I'd use that term) good show ol' chap good show.

I liked Nathan Jones when he returned. There was a marked improvement in his skills. X-Pac could be entertaining at times. Same for HHH, although these days it's hit or miss (usually miss). I marked out for the return of the Warrior in 98... till I saw him wrestle. I loved Aldo Montoya (probably the only way I could stand to see Justin Credible).

Macho Man Randy Savage was THE wrestler to hook me into watching.
When they were feuding I wanted Earthquake to beat Hulk Hogan at least once.

I never found Gillberg entertaining.
