Dont know if bret is still the hitman, but he is sure the hitman of the news as rumors of his return always hit the news. heard that he is going to be the special referee for the Michaels-Hogan match at Summerslam this year. Is that true and is he really planning to return to the WWE????

I heard someone say on another board he was coming back to promote the DVD and they posted a link to some news site called pwinsider or something. I'll find a link soon.

I've seen that rumor in links that are always super shocker links that never prove to be true and are merely designed to get hits.

If he returns, it will be for his DVD, and he will probably be inducted into the Hall of Fame next year. Maybe he'll do a non-intensive angle with Vince and/or Michaels if he's will to do it. Probably just a screw job or a chair beat down.

Nope, said in an interview that he couldn't even open a wrestling school because he wouldn't be able to do any teaching cause it would be too risky. Basically he can't take a bump or anything.

I dunno abt that - I'm not sure if I'd like to see Bret on WWE television, not just because of the whole screwjob thing, but because he could never play a physically active role. The wrestlers could never attack him like they could Stone Cold as one more bump could cause him serious damage. I wouldn't like to see him on tv if he weren't wrestling ... and he can't.
