Storylines Wrestlers Objected Too

Torrie Wilson was on a local sports talk station a couple of weeks ago and one of the things they asked her was were there ever any storylines she didn't like participating in. Then Torrie told the story about how they set up a feud with her and Dawn Marie and that they wanted to use her father for the part. The original plan was that they were going to use an actor but then used the real Al Wilson. Torrie said that she actually complained to WWE management that it was a bit much to have her father get married in his boxers and they eventually killed him off. She also vetoed a storyline involving her, a skimpy bikini, and mud. I also know that Bret was pissed during the Hart Foundation/ DX feud when Shawn kept taking pot shots at Stu Hart. Also, I wonder if Rey was completely comfortable with them using his son Dominic. Does anyone know of any other storylines that wrestlers refused to do or at least had a problem with it?

lol Bret had problem a with almost everything Shawn did.

Also Owen said no to doing an affair angle, and is punishment was the Blue Blazer gimmick.

It was Rey's idea to keep the feud going.

Lita isn't comfortable with the current Matt/Lita/Edge story.

Domonic on the other hand...is going to be scarred for life.

Ken Shamrock didn't want to do a storyline where he and his sister Ryan were haveing a relationship incest_style.

Shawn was coked up on drugs and pain killers every single time he went out there to preform that he just said anything he felt like

Then Bret beat the shit out of him and the little pussy whinned to Vince and said he was gonna quit.

Loose Cannon 09-01-2005 03:12 PM

Oh, Bret and Farooq put the ax on that whole Nation/Hart Foundation racisim thing. It was suppossed to go further.

Were Raven and Dreamer comfortable with the crucifixion angle before they went ahead with it?

Volchok 09-01-2005 05:15 PM

it was Sandman wasnt it?

Volchok 09-01-2005 05:16 PM

Or am I thinking of somthing totally differnt?

McLegend 09-01-2005 05:17 PM

No you are right it was Sandman not Dreamer

Volchok 09-01-2005 05:19 PM

I thought it was but I didn't watch ECW all the time back then so I wasn't sure... I popped in my Rise and Fall of ECW dvd...

LK 09-01-2005 05:22 PM

Stevie Richards and Blue Meanie certainly weren't comfortable with the crucifixtion angle but as far as I know Raven didn't see anything offensive about. Not sure about Sandman.

Volchok 09-01-2005 05:28 PM

Did I hear or read somewhere that Sandman was the one that actully put the crucifix together? Or am I just making this shit up as I go?

I know that back in Sables first run in the WWE she was against them using her in a Lesbian like storyline which just further added onto her rage which made her quit...

weird that when she returned she basically did the storyline she objected to in the first place...

Chavo Classic 09-01-2005 07:52 PM

Shaggy, where's you Maven avatr gone/

Jesus Of Suburbia 09-01-2005 07:53 PM

That was fucked up. I won't even elaborate, as I'm not in the mood.
