THEY'RE COMING!! - FORMER "DUDLEY BOYS" SIGN WITH TNA WRESTLING

To make debut on upcoming episode of "iMPACT!" on SpikeTV

Nashville, TN (September 22, 2005)--TNAwrestling.com has learned that the tag team, formerly known as "The Dudley Boys," have signed a multi-year contract with TNA Wrestling.

One of the most successful tandems in wrestling history, the tag team is expected to make their debut on an upcoming episode of "iMPACT!" on SpikeTV.

"We see TNA as the future of wrestling," Devon told TNAwrestling.com. "They have a lot of amazing talent that are ready to step up and revolutionize this business. We thought we had done it all in tag team wrestling until we saw TNA Wrestling. Now, we begin a new chapter in our careers. The NWA World Tag Team Titles are one prize we haven't held yet, so we're both really excited about joining TNA."

I was under the impression that they can't use anything from their WWE personas, including the term '3D'.

Awesome. WWE's loss is TNA's gain once again. Those damn Dudleys (whatever we're supposed to call them nowadays) should be a great addition to a nice tag team division, something WWE is desperately needing.... those stupid bastards.

Should be interesting to see what names they go by.

I like how a copule of the old ECW guys are pulling "formally known as". Justin is going by "The wrestler formally known as Justin Credible" and TNA refering to the Dudleys as "The tag team formally known as The Dudley Boyz"

Technically, no. Of course, they don't need a legit reason to sue, they could still put the WFKATDBs in debt easily.

They could also use "Devoooonnnn!!! ... Tables! NOW!" instead of "Get the tables!" which is copyrighted by WWE.

Or "Obtain the tables!" "Retrieve the tables!" perhaps? Hopefully TNA doesn't blow up and it doesn't turn into "Wait the tables!".

The "Dubley" boyz isn't taken is it? that would be funny as hell! the DAMN DUBLEYS!

I like the 'D-Von, tables, now!' idea. I also like team 3D. Can't wait for them to start on TNA. WWE only knoew what to do with them in 2000/2001. The dudleys always know how to put on an entertaining tag match.

When The Dudley Boyz come to TNA during the first TV taping, they'll likely be called Ray & Devon as those have been the names management has been talking about.
