So when Austin left.....

There was talk of possible Mark Henry interference. Is there anything going around about his status or a possible return date?

Not really answering your question, but I saw him at an OVW house show last Saturday. Him, Jeter, and Aaron Stevens lost a match and they have to wrestle in clown outfits at the next show they have here. I'll make sure I get pictures, I'm sure he'll be the Worlds Ugliest Clown.

Favre4Ever 11-24-2005 02:12 AM

hahaha, I need to see that.

Afterlife 11-24-2005 02:25 AM

When Benoit dislocated Henry's shoulder, they said he's be out for four months. That was a little over four months ago...times five.

But eh, I wouldn't mind having him back if -- and this is a big IF -- he's learned how not to injure people.

FourFifty 11-24-2005 02:36 AM

I wouldn't mind having him back if he jobs to everyone under the god damn sun, eats a shit sandwhich, and then gets fired.

I for one liked Mark Henry's last run.

Favre4Ever 11-24-2005 03:14 AM

Wouldn't it be more realistic if Teddy Long brought him to Smackdown! and used him as his enforcer? Its about time he took a heel turn anyways.

Well, this will be further proof that everyone has, or will play Doink the Clown sometime in their career as long as they're not main eventers.

:shifty:

Benoit didn't actually injure him. Henry got injured the week before and Benoit was hot off the Royal Rumble win, so they killed 2 birds with one stone by making Benoit look invincible by "destroying Henry's shoulder". Thankfully for us, it's probably killed that mega push Mark Henry was getting at the time.

With unoriginality like that, and considering the current direction of WWE writing, you might actually be spot on...

Volare 11-24-2005 08:24 AM

actually i think Creative wants to make a evil clown stable in WWE with doink as the leader....then ICP will come back and whoop-dat-ass!!

Favre4Ever 11-25-2005 03:55 AM

.........no.

BigChris 11-25-2005 04:13 AM

Yeah, really. I, for one, like the fact that for once we have an authority figure as a face. It's way too cliche for them to be a heel, and Teddy Long is too likable to be a heel. Belee dat playa.

Volare 11-25-2005 07:20 AM

holla holla holla

Teddy Long is such a tweener that he's almost invisible

Joe Kerr 11-25-2005 11:31 AM

RVD is to likeable to be a Heel Theodore can be a heel..remember the whole Rodney mack crap and Down with the Brown.

I think Henry hurt his knee when he was irish whipped into the ropes

Schoenauer 11-26-2005 06:16 PM

How many injuries has Henry suffered over his career?

Afterlife 11-27-2005 12:35 PM

Not as many as he's dealt out.
