When does the PS3 Get released?
 

hi peeps when does the ps3 get released in the uk?

North American release is set for spring, so if brits get it a couple of months after, I'd say summer of 2006.

Actually I read that the US release has been pushed back to the earliest next summer, although it seems more likely for the fall.

I'd heard that too. Hopefully they won't have the problems that the 360 is having.

i hear theyre planning on releasing Halo 3 against PS3 for competition. I bet that'll hurt.

Sadly enough, it probably will. Halo is hailed as the "OMG BEST FPS EVER", even though it's slightly above average.

It would if it was true. Bungie came out and said that Halo 3 prolly won't be ready for release by the time ps3 comes out. I can't remember what site I saw that on, but i'll look for it and post it.

They're claiming their [360's] games are going to be better. Better line-up. Anyone have a link to back that up? Cause so far, from what I've seen, PS3's games look far more interesting. The only thing that has impressed me about Xbox, is Fable 2, Halo 3 and Resident Evil 5 (which also ships to PS3). Soo, like uh...someone enlighten me:?:

I'm with you on that one. The only one in that list I don't care that much about is Halo. I like it, but I find it to be horribly, horribly overrated.

If you're a Final Fantasy fan, 360 gets the online FF, but nothing new as for as continuity of stories go.

You know, that's what gets me. Microsoft releases their Xbox a year (perhaps even MORE) before the PS3/Revolution comes out. I suppose someone had to jump first, but you know in that time there's going to be MASSIVE improvements.

LOL two of my friends who bought it are going nuts because both of their xbox's don't work at all. One of them freezes on the start up with every disk and one of them scratches the fuck out the CDs.

X Box are idiots, they should've waited for PS3 to come out before releasing X Box 360, so they could try and improve over PS3.
