Legend of Zelda: The wind Waker

Ok i am stuck on this game.
iI thought i would go back to my Gamecube and play on some games that i aint completed yet.
The part i am stuck on is a mini game or sumin...
It's like an island where you chuck these big things and try to get them in this hole with a flag init...
There's masive vines in the way so you must throw from behind the vines...
i did the first one but the second one is hard...
Anybody know what i'm talking about?

Shoot to the left, THE LEFT!

Such a terrible game.

Buzzkill 12-23-2005 01:57 PM

I loved that game. The graphics weren't stellar, but I got used to them after 5 minutes or so.

Requiem 12-23-2005 02:01 PM

I could never get over the "We made a gay looking kids game" compared to the at least slightly adult-like OoT on 64.

I wish Twilight Princess would come out on playstation instead of nintendo =(

Quit vagsanding, Wind Waker ruled

mitchables 12-24-2005 06:59 AM

Yeah I loved Wind Waker.

We have to wait until April for Twilight Princess though :'(

Extreme Angle 12-24-2005 08:08 AM

i'm getting twilight princess havn't heard much of it but i've seen pics...

Vietnamese Crippler 12-24-2005 09:37 PM

I thought Twilight Princess was gonna be released much later than April :-\

I can never get over how people think that the graphical design of a game has anything to do with the it being good or not. It's borderline retarded.

Requiem 12-24-2005 10:42 PM

Because in that case, they -downgraded- the graphics, and the overall 'look' of things was retarded and kid-like.

Graphics don't mean everything, but they mean something. If Half-life 2 didn't have the graphics it did, and its graphics sucked, it would never have won the awards it did. You can't honestly say that graphics don't mean -something- for a game.

Yes, gameplay > graphics, but when they take away from the experience, that sucks. And the graphics of windwaker made it feel like a 5 year olds game.

Destor 12-24-2005 10:44 PM

I still play 8-bit games. :$

Jaton 12-26-2005 02:42 PM

They "downgraded" the graphics? Have you ever done any type of developmental cycles?

Wind Waker's visuals were incredible. Fuck off, the lot of you.

RoXer 04-25-2010 07:27 PM

He might not feel that way 5 years later.

People can change.

LoDownM 04-25-2010 08:13 PM

I've never enjoyed cel shading, but enjoyed Wind Wanker.

:y:

Still think the art style of the game is garbage. Game itself is not bad.

Emperor Smeat 04-25-2010 10:37 PM

I liked how the cell shading was used to give Link emotions depending on what he was doing although hated the sailing due to the world map being huge.

Requiem 04-25-2010 10:46 PM

It took Assman 5 years to agree with me. Glad to know I got through to him though.

OssMan 04-25-2010 11:07 PM

Everyone's big gripe about this game was that the sailing was tedious. That was my favorite part of the game. So much fun.
