WWE has announced that SummerSlam will be held on Sunday, August 27th, 2006 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dammit, I wanted it to be in this area. :(

Anyone know if any PPVs will be coming to Nassau Colosseum, MSG, Continental Airlines, or somewhere in Philly?

Yes, it did. But anyway, the reasons I'm so excited about this ppv are -

1. I'm going and 2. There is a good chance that I'll be going backstage. :yes:

Due to MSG recently hiking up their rental fee, it would cost World Wrestling Entertainment $285,000 to rent out Madison Square Garden for one night. That price doesn't include security, etc ... That huge cost is the reason as to why WWE won't be holding a show at MSG in the near future as it's not financially feasible anymore. (ProWrestling.com)

Yeah, I know. But I figure they can pull something decent in with a PPV.

Also, what was the old price? How much did they raise it?

They usually run one of the big four PPV's at MSG every two years (last one WM20 in 2004). With the Rumble, WM and now Summerslam out of the question, will it be Survivor Series again at MSG?
