Alex Shelley is my new favorite wrestler.
 

I find his character on Impact to be pretty funny, and he can also wrestle damn good. TNA is getting a bit better at putting some of these X Division guys over..and Alex Shelley is a success on TNAs part IMO.

I never used to like Shelley, Aries, and Roderick because while they were good...they were boring. Now, hopefully with Gen Next, they'll be my new favorite stable in wrestling.

Sadly, I do agree that the X-Division guys need some kind of difference between them to be distinguishable. Generation Next is currently fine, Sonjay Dutt is fine, Chris Sabin is fine, Shannon Moore is fine, AJ Styles is fine, Samoa Joe is fine, Christopher Daniels is fine, Petey Williams is fine, Sean Waltman is fine and Jerry Lynn is fine. TNA is getting on top of things.

One thing I noticed is that TNA doesn't seem to have any Japanese wrestlers permanently on their roster. I would sign Jimmy Yang, ASAP. The same goes for Ultimo Dragon. Both guys are talented, one is legendary, both would be recognisable. If Jimmy Yang has the same kind of chemistry with any of the X-Guys that he does with Paul London, it's orgasm time.

More jap wrestlers are good...but then again, they don't want to overinflate their X Division roster.

I think the only way that'll work is if they create a mid card belt...so some of those X Division guys will compete for that as well.

I recomend checking out some of his work in Ring of Honor.

Alex Shelley is the fucking man. No question about it.
