Holy crap...i CARE about the women division....
I gotta admit,maybe its the lack luster product, but ive REALLY been enjoyin the womens division, beyond the fact that there good looking females. Any one else suddenly getting this feeling? they were always impressive wrestlers, dont get me wrong, its just theyve been receving an actually amount of attention from my wrestling side more then usal

They are getting more attention and storylines, but the wrestling is just getting worse. The only three who can really wrestle on the entire roster are Trish, Victoria, and Mickie. The rest are just eyecandy who can take a bump, do a flashy, easy move, and do a headlock.

God knows why this comes up every so often, but here every time it does I break out teh same argument so here it goes:
The "Women's Division" is a complate waste of time if you are watching it for the wrestling. Clearly the great majority of the WWE fans don't give two shits about the in-ring performance. If they did, then women like Jazz and Molly an to a lesser extent even Gail Kim would still have jobs. Clearly the great majority of WWE fans really want to see T&A. Which is why th Diva segments get such high numbers. Basically the WWE figured out that pushing them as 'wrestlers' was a waste of time and have instead decided to ignore the ring work completely and focus on stories. So yeah, the 'women's division' is more entertaining lately becausethey've applied a nice little storyline. But the ringwork is still utter shit and saying anything otherwise is ignorant. One or two little spots does not cover up anything. This is more than likely what the WWE women's division is going to be from now on: smoking hot bitches running around showing off their cleavage involved in storylines with strong sexual overtones with the occasional shitty match thrown in here and there. And honestly, that doesn't sound that bad. |

Here's how I see the women's division, as if anyone cares.
Mickie James is hot. Her acting isn't the greatest, but come on, it's wrestling. We're not going to get an Oscar winning act from anyone. I think she's playing her role as the psycho chick very well. I'm not big into the women's matches but Mickie makes it worth watching. Victoria is a great wrestler. Everyone else is just eye candy. |

As women wrestlers go we've seen people that are so much better than her. Lita, Ivory, Molly Holly, Luna Vachon, Alundra Blaze, Moolah, Young, Chyna, Jaquline, Woman... Trish is hot, and she's over because she's hot. She's not a great wrestler. And don't tell me you need to be a great wrestler to hold a title. Aside from the fact that the women's title has been passed around like a discount hooker at a frat house, and that they forgot about the women's title for around 6 months when Trish was injured, Hogan is far from the best wrestler. Look at him in the ring and tell me he was able to wrestle for his championships. What does that have to do with X-Pac? As a wrestler he wasn't over. As a part of DX people liked him because they liked DX. As a wrestler Trish isn't over. As a hottie, on the other hand, people love her. |

Aside from that you show me when Trish has pulled off a moonsault, a suicide dive, or a hurricarana. Yeah, the Chick Kick is alright, but any other move she does is crap. |

I never said high spots and flips are needed to be a good wrestler. You just took one person who I said was better than Trish, and I told you why I think Lita is better wrestler. I don't like Trish's move set. The springboard bulldog would be cool if someone like Brian Kendrick or Calrtio would do it, but Trish trying to pull it off as a finisher... I guess if Hogan can use a leg drop...
Now I'll be fair. Trish is a better wrestler than some people on the current roster. Maria, Ashley, Candice, Torrie Wilson... they suck compared to Trish. She's not the worst thing the WWE women's roster has going for them. |

Second, how many of the people you named trained to wrestle, and for how long? Trish was a fitness model, who's only been a trained wrestler for a few years. Look at her five years ago, not only is she good, but in the comparitive amount of time, she's damn near great. Plus, Trish can work the mic great, which is lacking in her division. If it was all about TnA, why do the diva searches get booed? Trish's looks are definately not the only reason people like her. Remember heel Trish? Heel Trish is golden. Anywho, look at her matches w/ Victoria. They were great. Maybe if Tirsh wasn't being grouped /w people like Maria, Torrie, Candice, and Ashley, she'd be able to do more in the ring. One person, no matter how good, cannot carry a match w/ someone who is absolute shit in the ring. |
Victoria is easily the most overrated womens wrestler ever. Yes even more then Lita.
Every Victoria match the transiton between moves is never smooth. Seriosuly don't know why everyone loves her, but whatever. She isn't bad, but she isn't that great. Like PH said though it's doesn't matter the women's divison is just there for T&A, and there is nothing wrong with that. |

Lita could wrestle when she first came in, and she was decent. Now... She's just a walking hazard.
As for Trish... Meh. She may be good on the mic, hot, and can wrestle, but I'm tired of seeing her. She's just getting boring- especially as Women's champion. All the storylines around her... She just... Bah, make her drop the title, get some heat going. In that same sense, send Ashley to OVW and let her train. She could probably make a decent women's wrestler if she were to get more training. Certainly starting off better than Gayda. And for God's sake, give Victoria her pyscho heel gimmick back... |
