WWE DVDs
Who else thinks wwe is kinda doing a DVD overkill right now?
|
Yeah, I was just thinking that. Its the new fad, first it was the wrestler autobiography books, now its DVD's.
|
But the DVD's they have been releasing have been pretty damn good. The Shawn Michaels, Rey Mysterio, Ric Flair, Bloodbath, and Mick Foley DVD's were all great! I'm looking forward to the Monday Night War DVD, I just hope it's factual and objective (ha!).
DVD's are probably a cheap and efficient way of making money, especially for wrestling. Put a bunch of old matches and promos together and watch the money fly in. So can you blame them? |
I've got Flair (working my way through it) and Foley (on order), I'm gonna get the HBK and Bloodbath ones when I see them cheap, buying the Monday Night War one...
but how is the Rey Rey one? |

I don't think it's an overkill. I want more, actually.
|
They have an overkill, but not much of it is the right stuff.
They own catalogues that include WWWF,WWF,WCW,ECW, NWA,AWA,SMW,and plenty of other tapes as well. If they released some of their older footage of NWA,etc... (like on the Flair DVD) the sales would go through the roof. Me personally,I'm waiting for the "Best of Duane Gill" DVD :shifty: |
I hope they make a 3 disk Bret Hart set.
|
What's the Monday Night War one?
