"Striken from the record"
 

Besides Jericho's "never happened, nudge nudge, wink wink" title win, has there been any wins that have been "striken from the record", so to speak?

I seem to remember at least one or two, but I can't put any faces to them.

If you mean storyline, I'm sure there are plenty. If you mean legit, then the Rockers are a good example

I mean storylines on TV... I know there are some I just can't remember any at the moment.

I may be wrong. But didn't it happen to Benoit in 2000?

Sid pinned Sting (Barry Windham dressed as Sting) to win the NWA Title. Ref restarted the match after we saw the real Sting come back.

yea, Benoit beat Rock, but the Foley had the match restart.

Sometime in 2002 Dudleys won the Tag Titles for Jericho/X-tain, but Chief Morley restarted the match

I remember Bob Holly winning the I-C title from Jeff Jarett on the Action Zone back in 95 and left with the belt and on RAW they annouced since the ref didnt see Jaretts foot on the rope that the next Sunday Holly would get a rematch but he lost, same thing happened in 96 with Vega and Goldust except Vega won by hitting Goldust with the belt yet when they had the rematch Goldust won by doing the same thing and no ref came out for that. I also remember Test winning the I-C title from Jarett on Heat in 99 but Whippleman reversed it after finding out Test hit Jarett with his gituar.

Benoit had a match with the rock in 2000 when shane was his manager and he won illeagally thanks to Shane O'Mac but then Foley was was the gm at the time came out and restarted the match which the rock won.

Also what happened with Benoits title win for wcw. I know he left for the wwf a week late and I think WCW just clamied it never happened and even Benoit himself dosnt see himself as a wcw champ.

Sid (I believe) had his leg under the ropes when he tapped out, so they over-turned it on the next Nitro.

The stip for the match between Benoit and The Rock was that if The Rock was DQ'ed he would lose the then-WWF Championship to Benoit. Shane tried to get The Rock DQ'ed and it almost worked until Foley overturned the decision and restarted the match.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned RVD beating the undertaker for the undisputed title. I marked out like a 12 year old girl watching nick carter take off his shirt.

But yeah, he pinned the undertaker after a rolling thunder (i think), but taker had his foot on the ropes. He HELD THE FUCKING TITLE and the crowd went nuts... but of course flair restarts the match, and then a fan threw garbage at him

I won the belt off the Undertaker a few years back, but Vince DQ'ed me after the fact for using a closed fist.

Owen Hart beat Bret Hart for the WWF Championship in the Dusty Finish...kind of along the same lines as "Striken From the Record" thing...
