Raw doesn't look too bad, I want some info on this Lance Cade guy though, nice to see they havent forgotten guys like The Rock, Mick Foley and Austin though.

Wow, smackdown's pretty different, everyone seems to have a new gimmick, Nice to see Paul London still there along with the mexicools and MNM.

I'm guessing you haven't been watching WWE in, like, the past year.

Goldust and Tatanka "officially" returned at the Royal Rumble. Kenny, Mitch, Mikey, et al are all part of the Spirit Squad.

Lashley is the new (black) Brock Lesnar, but not as high-flying. Sylvan is now a Euro-model with an attitude, based on his real-life past experiences as a male model.

Steve Romero is an interviewer and has been around for almost a year I think. Gymini is Simon Dean's new tag team that he "sponsors", because they apparently used the Simon System. Finlay is back, yeah, used to be a trainer.

Val and Viscera used to be a team but now Val is out with an injury. Umaga used to be Jamal of 3 Minute Warning. Trevor Murdoch used to be Lance Cade's tag team partner but is now on his own. Matt Striker has a teacher gimmick and was last on RAW (and not Unlimited) in December.

Joey Styles is their new replacement for Jim Ross, and he's quite simply, awesome. And Estrada is as new as Umaga, being his manager (two weeks now).

Seriously, keep up to speed on these things, man. :p

I'll try, ever since Boogeyman came to smackdown, it put me off watching WWE, I was kinda insulted that I was being fed this. I prefer velocity to Smackdown though, they never really meddle with storylines and such, its all out wrestling.

Whats Lance Cade like?

What!? Everybody LOVES the Boogeyman! Come on, it's funny stuff. I consider Smackdown to be the brand that doesn't take itself as seriously as RAW does.

And you never even mentioned Paul Burchill as a pirate! Love. It.

As for Lance Cade, he's more Heat-ish than Matt Striker is. He's just a regular cowboy gimmick, full of himself, etc. He has the look, but I haven't heard much in terms of promos from him.

Remember Garrison Cade, back in '03/'04? Yeah, same guy.

Shit, it's Garrison Cade? Wow. I'm fine with Burchill's gimmick because he's British, and I dont expect anything sane from Britain. The boogeyman annoys me because in the time I could be watching MNM, the mexicools Or any cruiserweights is ruined by Him eating worms, The Undertaker appearing in mirrors, and the whole Eddies Memory thing being stretched out way too far.

Actually, the cruisers have gotten more time since he appeared. Coincidence? :shifty:

Since who appeared? Boogeyman or Burchill?

BTW, Johnny Parisi=Johnny Swinger, formerly of ECW and WCW. Hell of a talker, good wrestler, loads of charisma, shoulda been pushed when they first signed him.

No but I saw more than enough of him in TNA. Needless to say, I wasn't very suprised when TNA put up the square root of fuck all fight in keeping him.

Look for some of his stuff with Simon Diamond in ECW. Pretty good, IMO.
