Holy shit (Raw SpoileR)

Did Charlie Haas get some Charisma or something?

Funky Fly 04-18-2006 10:29 AM

Nah, he just grew a hobo beard. ;)

Kane Knight 04-18-2006 10:34 AM

The beard is controlling his actions?

Funky Fly 04-18-2006 10:37 AM

Maybe. He probably thought he was on bumfights or something.

Bum Fights vol 7: Charlie Haas vs Jim Duggan.

I had no idea he was going to come out. I kept hearing that he was re-hired, released, rehired, released.

But yeah, awesome match.

...But enough about the Ruse Report...

Xero 04-18-2006 12:35 PM

So is it just me or, from afar, does he look like a small, less-roided Matt Morgan?

Pardeep 619 04-18-2006 04:44 PM

Haas was really good. He looked as if he was trying really hard to save his job and make a good impression. Full credit to him for doing well.

I noticed that too. He's like a cloned version of him... only .75 of the size.

They're the same person you idiots.

Fox 04-19-2006 01:49 AM

:shifty:

The Heat 04-19-2006 02:12 AM

Haas came off well last night. His feud with Benjamin will be great. Now, if only they kept Shelton's "Momma" out of it, we'll all be fine :y:

I'm just wonderin' if they'll give Haas a new finisher?

Jaton 04-20-2006 01:14 AM

The Haas of Pain looks credible.

Mr. Nerfect 04-20-2006 01:58 AM

Charlie Haas has always been charismatic, in my opinion. He has that "straight guy" charisma. Haas did really well last night, and now he's got the win over the IC Champion, I think a feud between Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas for the title can be expected. Just have SB get DQ'd in his match against RVD, so Haas (who wins an IC Title #1 Contender's Match earlier) saves RVD from a beat-down.

I don't know why, but I also hope that Charlie Haas & RVD win the World Tag Team Championship from The Spirit Squad on RAW next week. Hey, it's not like RAW has any other credible teams. A few swaps from and back over to the Spirit Squad could make the belts seem more existent.

Hired Hitman 04-20-2006 03:22 AM

Charlie Haas needs a impact move along with his awesome submission.

Mr. JL 04-20-2006 03:28 AM

I remember watching Judgment Day or some lame ass Smack Down PPV that had Charlie Haas teaming with Hardcore Holly against MNM. As the match progressed I remember Charlie Haas coming in for the hot tag and just the way he carried himself made me believe he'd be a great asset to this businees and the WWE.

A few weeks later he was released. Then rumoured to be rehired. Rumoured released. Re-hired. And although I did not see his 'return' I can bet it was fairly impressive based on what I have seen from him in the past.

Anybody Thrilla 04-20-2006 10:39 AM

I like Charlie Haas, but I didn't see any change in 'charisma' on Monday. Also, I wouldn't jump the gun on a feud with Shelton just yet. Shelton's still got that RVD business to take care of. Also, it didn't seem like he got much of a reaction at all. I HOPE this run goes well for him, but I wouldn't start making HAAS 3:16 signs just yet.

Kane Knight 04-20-2006 10:47 AM

The guy seemed to play to the crowd far better than before. Like, ever before. So, despite crowd reaction, I'd say he madee a fine impression at the least.

Anybody Thrilla 04-20-2006 10:50 AM

I'm not trying to argue here, but what's the difference between Charlie Haas not getting a reaction and it being OK and Chris Masters not getting a reaction and it not being OK?

CharismaInjection 04-20-2006 10:51 AM

He did okay with the crowd. When he clotheslined Shelton out of the ring and climbed the turnbuckle the crowd reacted. He also got a little 'Charlie' chant when Shelton did the rolling thunder.

Anybody Thrilla 04-20-2006 10:53 AM

Like I said, I like Charlie, but I think a bit of the reaction may have been due to shock value. Not a lot of people expected to see him. You think the reactions will continue as the weeks go on?

snakeboss 04-20-2006 10:53 AM

I watched it and Shelton didn't get a reaction either. I know he's a heel but he didn't get boo'd or cheered, nothing.

Haas got a reaction, not total dead silence? Also, I doubt anyone's really calling it okay.

I'm hoping they have Triple H vs. Charlie Haas this week on RAW, as kind of a re-visit of Triple H vs. Shelton Benjamin, from when Benjamin got drafted over to RAW. It is unlikely, but they've already played out the Handicap Match scenarios, so maybe having Triple H, Edge & John Cena facing random opponents is the way to go. Edge & Cena can cost Triple H the match to Haas.

Some big wins would really solidify Haas, which was the big problem with him in the first place. People saw him as the lesser of The World's Greatest Tag Team. The reactions will keep up if the WWE keeps Haas up.
