Palmer Cannon quits
PWInsider.com is reporting that SmackDown star Palmer Cannon has left World Wrestling Entertainment's current tour of Europe and has flown himself home.
According to reports, the word among wrestlers on the tour was that Cannon recently gave his notice to WWE and that he was en route back to his home in Georgia. Although details are a bit sketchy at this point, we do know he left the tour on his own and it wasn't a request by WWE officials. Cannon, who signed a developmental deal with WWE back in March of 2005, was originally trained by Killer Kowalski in New England and debuted on SmackDown as a representative of "The Network" as a heel role along with SmackDown GM Teddy Long. Cannon has continued to train and wrestle in WWE's Deep South Wrestling territory while playing his weekly role on SmackDown. He did work the SmackDown event in Bologna, Italy yesterday against Funaki. We hope to get more information on this as it becomes available. More on the Story: As reported on Thursday, SmackDown star Palmer Cannon gave notice to World Wrestling Entertainment yesterday that he would be quitting the company, effective immediately. Cannon did this during WWE's current tour of Europe at the moment. According to reports, Cannon was said to have been the target of some "hazing" by several SmackDown veterans as of late. When the hazing came to the point where Cannon almost had a physical confrontation with John Bradshaw Layfield, he made the decision to give his notice to the company and fly himself home. Cannon, who signed a developmental deal with WWE back in March of 2005, was originally trained by Killer Kowalski in New England and debuted on SmackDown as a representative of "The Network" as a heel role along with SmackDown GM Teddy Long not long ago. Cannon has continued to train and wrestle in WWE's Deep South Wrestling territory while playing his weekly role on SmackDown. It should be noted that as of today, WWE has yet to grant his official release from the company. We will continue to follow this situation as it develops. Credit: Mike Johnson @ PWInsider.com |
God, this hazing shit has gotta stop.

What a pussy. [/DESTOR]
But, yeah, how many guys are going to drop out of the company before Vince realizes "Oh, hey, maybe letting these jackasses have their way with the new talent is a bad idea?" |
Not surprised he quit. They weren't using him in an active, wrestling role, whcih I would've loved to see him do eventually.
More proof that JBL = ass http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/3828/hairyass4ph.jpg See that ass right there? That's JBL. I should give you a week long ban for that. |
Ew.
Yes. The truth is not pretty, my friend.
But it certainly is hairy.
What, you think I'm gonna be picky about which ass-picture I rip off?
I hope JBL sticks the soap up the wrong ass one day.
I'd pay to see him try it on the Ultimate Warrior and watch Warrior just unload on the closet fag.
Wow, I pulled up this thread in studio. Definitely not a worksafe picture.
We need Iron Shiek to come in and make JBL humble, old country way.
Seriously? Who has an ass like that? Who has hair on their ass?
So now who is The Miz going to mess with? I'm pretty damn sure they were setting up a Miz/Cannon thing.
Poochy.

JBL kicks ass. Tell Palmer to suck it up
Would you want to be sodimized by JBL?
JBl's a dickweed. Fuck that guy.
send him to the UFC. |
Hey, what's happening with Ken Kennedy anyway? Wasn't he a "representative of the Network"? I miss Kennedy...
Wait for it... http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/1...nedyass3ai.gif |

OI OI OI |
Seriously, if JBL wasn't a complete backstage hazer, he might actually be my favorite wrestler. He was ON FIRE on the mic tonight and just absolutely detestable.
I guess he's just playing himself. |
He's the guy who represented the "NEtwork" and was doing the warnings on those Miz spots, as well as bringing in the Boogeyman, etc.
Don't forget about the glory of the Junior Division!
BEST. TALENT. EVER. |
oh he was the net exe, i like jbl but he needs to get his head out of his ass. best thing to do with jbl is to move him to raw where theres less rookes.
It's a shame JBL sucks in the ring, because he's a hilarious character.
I got nothing against a guy being "rookied" but there's a difference between that and hazing. JBL is known for going over board and this is just another example.

I don't think it's his own ass he needs to get out of. |
Hey, sorry about putting that hairy ass image directly into the post. And my ass, for the record, is hairy...but not THAT hairy. :shifty:
Damn, I was actually looking forward to a Miz vs. Palmer Canon feud. I am pretty sure the WWE spells Brian Black's characters' last name with only one "n", by the way. I was really starting to like the guy and was anticipating Mike Mizanin vs. Palmer Canon at Judgment Day. Now I guess we will get some Miz vs. Orlando Jordan feud.
Why the fuck doesnt JBL just try and haze Lashley and get killed already

Either that or he's afraid to get his ass rammed by a black man.
