Erm, were you watching a different iMPACT! show than I was? Rick Steiner would have been Sting's partner had Jeff Jarrett picked the tunnel. Next week it'll be somebody different. Like Macho Man or something.

At least it's not going to be Rick Steiner, Buff Bagwell, or Lex Luger. I hope it's someone good.

Yep, let's just say Sting's tag team partner likes to Bounce. Bentley Bounce. Oh look, I've gone and given it away. :shifty:

You'd think TNA would stop having Sting in matches where he "names his partner" and then disappoints with someone already in TNA. The purpose of having a mystery partner is to SHOCK the audience. Doing it every week kinda makes the value of having "mystery" non-existant......

Kinda like TNA PPVs and run-ins: overused

I could be wrong, but I took the Luger/Bagwell/Rick Steiner appearances in the promos more as nostalgic and didn't really gather they were going to be used in the ring.

Anyway, as several others have posted, watch this week for who Sting's partner actually is. If you're a TNA mark, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I highlighted the spoilers...I am disappoted, though not at all shocked.
