Forgot to mention it in the topic, thank you Head.

Dude... Eddie is going the **** off. Seriously. I wouldn't be surprised if he picked up the title at NWO after this promo. I'm even buying it.

And then on top of that he just kicked the shit out of Lesnar.

Head 02-05-2004 08:54 PM

Should put up a spoiler warning

Head 02-05-2004 08:54 PM

But yeah, this promo is the best I have seen in a long time.

Boondock Saint 02-05-2004 10:33 PM

:y: That was a damn good promo

Joe Kerr 02-05-2004 10:37 PM

pretty sure he will win i mean brock has to lose the belt by mania to do the goldberg / Brock match.....logically speaking ....oh wait WWE logic???

Corkscrewed 02-06-2004 12:05 AM

I'm digging this emotion. I still think its too soon to give him the strap yet. Judgment Day would be perfect.

Mikey 02-06-2004 12:11 AM

:'(

Corkscrewed 02-06-2004 12:44 AM

Awwww.... *pat pat* Cheer up. RAW's been good lately, at least.

EazyMack 02-06-2004 02:56 AM

Yeah that was quite a moment to witness. I already knew this but during that promo I kept thinking about how good Eddie is on the mic, he can really cut a promo. It does seem a bit early for him to win the title but what the hell. He's gotta win it sometime, right? And it's not so much of a stretch for him to be champ now.

How old is Eddie, btw?

Sephiroth 02-06-2004 04:21 AM

Great moment...I think he is gonna get the title :-\ olright i hope.

I could see that happening. And it'd really get over if he did lose to Brock but then came back to beat him, thus making Lesnar, "Just another obstacle." Also by that logic, Brock wouldn't even look weaker.

Lamuella 02-06-2004 10:27 AM

that promo was absolutely excellent. The part where the emotion overcame him and he dropped the mic... perfect.

Also, his attack on Brock sold him as a fired up maniac.

I think he could do it. I hope he does it.

Kane Knight 02-06-2004 04:37 PM

That promo had me going:  Woah.

Corkscrewed 02-06-2004 09:46 PM

Okay, if they do decide to have Eddie beat Brock, they can only justify it by having him follow it up with a strong win at Wrestlemania and at Judgment Day. He should keep it through May to be seen as credible.

Word.

And I hope it happens this way.

So nobody knows how old he is? :D

The CyNick 02-07-2004 02:40 AM

I dont think he'll lose the title, for awhile anyway.

I could see a scenario where they hot shot the title on Angle at Mania, maybe form a stable with Lesnar (I think thats going to happen anyway), and then have Eddie chase Kurt for a couple of months.

However, I see that as a bad idea, if they are going to put the title on Eddie, they should keep in on him till at least Summerslam, but I'm think they should go to Survivor Series or even the Rumble. At that point you put it on a heel (either Lesnar or Angle) and then go to Cena at Mania.

The only problem with Eddie winning at NWO and Mania is that he would have beat the top two heels on SD and will really only have Big Show left who might be able to do a PPV program with Eddie. There is an x-factor in Edge, because they could turn him heel, but I haven't heard anything to indicate thats the plan. Perhaps if they go with the heel fcation deal, they can kinda recreate the Austin vs Corporation stuff where the group was constantly trying to take the title from Austin. By doing that rematches with Angle and Lesnar seem somewhat new because they are now 'stronger than ever'.

WEIGHT: 220 lbs.

So Eddie is just going over his mid 30s...I think he looks around the age of 32.
