Smackdown was on UPN right, why did they change the station's name to CW? I know this is barely wrestling related but anyhow.

I forgot and taped UPN last week instead of WB. Partially because the (Former) UPN affiliate in Boston was advertising CW programming (...k...), but partially just because I'm not used to the whole CW thing.

UPN 28 (Providence) became CW
UPN 38 (Boston), which I don't normally get, became TV 38, owned by CBS

My TiVo is set to record on channel 28, so it was a painless transition. :p

TV 38 (Which really, has always been it's name) was running adverts for CW programming before the switch. I don't get 28 tho. I think it's because Vermont was founded by secularlists like Ethan Allen, and Rhode Island was founded by angry southerners who wanted it legal for a crack whore to marry a bull.
