He wants to kill pro wrestling...that way his legacy will be that of the man who made it popular (80's) and than redefined it (late 90's) and single handedly killed it (2000). He wants to be the god of pro wrestling, when he is laying in a coffin he wants to know an entire industry will already be in the grave next to it.

No I don't think that. I think he just has a massive ego and has lost touch with reality.

What's to stop somebody from picking up the pieces and running with it after pro-wrestling is "dead"? McMahon wouldn't be the wrestling god if he was just the first chapter of many to follow. To be the wrestling god, he'd have to own everything wrestling forever.

It's like the Matrix. Vince McMahon's WWE will only be one in a line of many to try to kill pro wrestling.

I'm waiting for someone to say, he already killed it in the late 80's.

By the way, I like this topic, it made me think.
