UFC guys in WWE

I don't watch much. in fact, hardly any UFC...

But I was wondering, who do you ppl think would be the best guys to go from UFC to the WWE?

For me, I think Frank Mir, I think he's an awesome submission wrestler with really good charisma also.

El Fangel 10-19-2006 11:14 PM

Ken Shamrock :shifty:

El Fangel 10-19-2006 11:15 PM

Matt Hughes, and possibly Tank Abbott.

McLegend 10-19-2006 11:17 PM

Mir sucks now.

Answer to your question Tito Ortiz.

Destor 10-19-2006 11:18 PM

Tito and Pro-Wrestling don't mix.

Destor 10-19-2006 11:18 PM

To answer the question: None of the above, I think they are better off where they are.

What?

His whole act his Ric Flair. Tito could fit in pro wrestling, but obviously he's better in UFC.

Destor 10-19-2006 11:20 PM

Did you see him in TNA?

Yes and with time he could improve.

Destor 10-19-2006 11:22 PM

Oh, I thought we were talking about right now.

Destor 10-19-2006 11:22 PM

In time anyone could improve.

McLegend 10-19-2006 11:27 PM

But he is the best suited for it. He's very unlikeable guy, he's big, and he is loads of Charisma.

IMO he would be the best.

Skippord 10-19-2006 11:32 PM

I would like to murder Tito Ortiz and I dont even watch UFC

Destor 10-19-2006 11:37 PM

Makes for a good heel then...

Skippord 10-19-2006 11:45 PM

I hate his stupid face

Erm... Frye, Shamrock, Sakuraba, Fujita, Coleman, Randleman, Severn, Sudo, Uno and a bunch of others have done both and been sucessful.

I don't know if you are serious or not.

But incase you are...

Matt Hughes can't cut a promo and is smaller than Tazz. Look at how well Tazz did in WWE.

Tank Abbott in pro wrestling = more 3 count angles.

El Fangel 10-20-2006 12:57 AM

I wasn't serious by the way, look at the post before it

Fignuts 10-20-2006 01:22 AM

Sakuraba

I'd challenge him to a fight and just as the bell rang pull out a bat and hit him in the knee with it

Stickman 10-20-2006 03:08 PM

I'd like to fuck Tito.....................'s girlfriend.

Kris P Lettus 10-20-2006 03:16 PM

They should stick with MMA because, you know, it doesn't suck complete balls like prowrestling..

Anybody Thrilla 10-20-2006 04:09 PM

Dan Severn was boring as fuck, but I'll tell you this, his theme music was sick.

Kris P Lettus 10-20-2006 06:09 PM

*2 sicc

Crimson 10-20-2006 10:25 PM

Mcmahon would probably drool over a guy like Sylvia, big lug to throw in there against Kane or something. But yea Tito for sure...maybe Monson.

Kane Knight 10-21-2006 12:04 AM

I think this Brock Lesnar dude could probably do well in pro wrestling.

Vastardikai 10-21-2006 02:14 AM

Tito was the first guy to come to mind upon seeing this.

It's a shame Severn didn't make a bigger impact. Severn was the guy who took MMA to the next level, from being purely Jujitsu dominated to being Wrestling dominated. That being said, Gracie-Hackney from UFC 4, IIRC, was probably the first true "Modern" MMA match.

I have a problem with UFC guys in wrestling.

They just don't seem to come in quite as humble as amateur guys.

The amateur guys always seem willing to learn, to adapt to something completely different. Willing to earn their spot.

The UFC guys just seem to be intent on keeping their tough guy image to learn.

Just IMO though I don't know enough about MMA to comment on this.

Kris P Lettus 10-21-2006 12:50 PM

Having a fake fighter telling a real fighter how to fake fight is retarded though..

I can see why they'd have an attitude..

owenbrown 10-21-2006 01:04 PM

Just another thing for Vince and his "Creative Writing" team to fuck up. :nono:

If I were to move to a different city and continue my martial arts training, most places will let me keep my stripes.

If I want to change majors or move colleges, I can transfer my credits.

It's not completely different. It's different, it's just not as pehnomenally different as you make it out to be. A legit fighter has probably earned his spot.

Not to mention, when you sign UFC guys because UFC's hot (Which they've done in the past), you're signing guys under a specific premise.

I agree completely...well...unless they're pretty old. Anything above 45, and I'd say you're not improving, except MAYBE on the mic.
