Persona Preference Poll: Sting
 

The response was better than I expected on the previous poll so here is another edition of the "Persona Preference Poll". I was going to pick Crow Sting but Surfer Sting, and Bret, are who got me interested in wrestling.

Surfer Sting for all those of you who don't know or forgot what he was like.

I didn't include Flash Borden for obvious reasons :)

Although I found his surfer matches tended to be a lot faster paced, I enjoyed his crow persona more.

Crow Sting by miles.

surfer sting without a doubt. when TNA announced sting would have a new look i was hoping it would be a return to surfer sting but instead they gave him red face paint.

I've enjoyed all of Sting's personas. My favorite would have to be Crow Sting closely followed by Surfer Sting.

I am inclined to agree with Crippla, sad as that is.

I think I heard that Nash was the one who came up with the idea. Can anyone confirm this?

The Crow gimmick has to be one of the best gimmicks ever. Sting didnt wrestle or speak for over a year. He would just show up on nitro give somebody the slopdrop and that was it. His first match back was in the mainevent of the biggest show of the year, and he walked out with the belt. If im not mistaken the buyrate was huge. Im not saying the match was a four star classic, but thats saying something if you can go without wrestling for over a year and people still want to see you win the belt. For the record it was Scott Hall who came up with the idea.

I don't think it's even a question, Crow Sting all the way.

TNA Sting with the red pants, red lines in face paint, and no shirt is already gone. Pretty much back to the Crow Sting... with a patch of red on his jacket.
