One night, me and my roommate both had our laptops in the "entertainment" room. I don't know what you faggots call that one room where the tv is and everybody migrates there when there is a show everyone likes......ANYWAY..


We were on the internet and i was downloading something from limewire and he said "watch this". He played songs that were on my computer. He told me that some of them go into his itunes account. WTF, like i can't have him just going through my shit like that. He said he doesn't do that or isn't going to mess with my stuff but still, if you can play MY files that way then there is a PROBLEMA!

I've already made my C drive unshareable (right click/sharing and security/etc.)..is that all that i need to do?? What else do i need to do???

Is your wireless connection secure?

lol actually we both bounce off of another guy upstairs i think. But usually i am hooked via ethernet.

Ok. So basically, since its not MY wireless internet, i should use it when my roommate ISN'T.

Or just turn off your file sharing on your laptop.

iTunes also has a file sharing feature as well where other people on the same network, which would be your situation here, can play songs from other computers.
