You have the 9-11 Monday night timeslot all to yourself and it's just a clip show. And it's the day after a PPV of all things!

Jeff Jarrett: Monday, what monday?
Dixie Carter: This monday, Raw is pushed back this week and we're gonna do a live IMPACT!

Dixie Carter: Yeah, That Dog show was luc-
Jeff Jarrett: Dog Show?
Dixie Carter: Yeah, Westminister?
Jeff Jarrett: SHIT. ARE YOU CRAZY?!

Well, that countdown will sure have the casuals thinking this is new programming and get hooked.

Lame. Why not have a two hour Impact?

Because that would require thought, which TNA managment is basically incapable of.

TNA is the Eugene of wrestling promotions.

Okay, lets check out this lineup of matches. Isn't this supposed to be kind of a "Best Of" show to attract the casual fan to TNA's brand of wrestling?

*Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle (first-ever match, Genesis 2006)
-Underachieving, mediocre at best. Not a whole lot different that a big WWE matchup.

*NWA champion Christian Cage vs. Jeff Jarrett vs. Abyss vs. Sting vs. Ron Killings- King of the Mountain (Slammiversary 2006)
-At least it will showcase an "innovative" match type (that being the King of the Mountain match)....all in all still a mediocre contest.

*NWA Tag Team champions AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels vs. LAX- Six Sides of Steel (Bound for Glory 2006)
-No complaints here, this was actually a good match IMO.

*NWA champion Jeff Jarrett vs. Sting with Kurt Angle as the official Enforcer (Bound for Glory 2006)
-The only people that will find this match entertaining are big Sting fans, and big Sting fans already watch.

*Christian Cage vs. Rhino - 8 Mile Streetfight (Bound for Glory 2006)
-Could've been on Raw or Smackdown 5 or 6 years ago. Not particularly entertainingeither way.

So the main complaint is it's too WWE-like?

God, that seems to be what they're aspiring to.

This line up needs more cowbell.

So more Samoa Joe matches?

I remember when the debut of ECW on TNN was like this.

Wasn't that because Heyman didn't want to change the show (they had already taped it) and for spite just sent them a tape?

will TNA fans even watch this? Wouldn't some of them skip this since they've already seen these matches/have them recorded on tape/have them on DVD?
