One in his prime...

If you could have one wrestler ever, be forever in his prime and in the WWE, who would it be? They can be retired, dead, whatever.

Boogen

Ninti the Mad 03-08-2007 07:52 PM

ric flair

SammyG 03-08-2007 08:01 PM

The Rock

Mr. Nerfect 03-08-2007 08:10 PM

Stone Cold Steve Austin, although a Mr. Perfect would be awesome too.

The One 03-08-2007 09:14 PM

I'm tempted to say Ric Flair, but I simply have never thought of Flair as a WWE guy. He just isn't. And as much as I loved his early 90's run in WWE, I just charish the memory of his prime in the NWA during the late 80s too much. So I guess I would have to go with Michaels to be in his prime and WWE forever...

Really I thought you would have said Billy Gunn, then again he was in WWE forever and it was his prime.

McLegend 03-08-2007 09:17 PM

I thought this thread was goinh to be about Tovo, and we were going to see a post from Tovo's prime.

I was let down though.

Well listen, until he posts one of his matches, he will be forever a never-was.

The One 03-08-2007 09:33 PM

I too thought this thread would be about me. I too was let down.

And ouch Xero. Totally true...still...ouch...

Xero 03-08-2007 09:34 PM

Hey hey hey, don't look so glum, chum! We can always talk about how horrible Hogan sucks. Would that make you feel better? To say Hogan sucks? Huh?

The One 03-08-2007 09:37 PM

...*sniffle*...can we talk about how Nash has more talent in his quad than Hogan does all over too...*sniffle*...

Xero 03-08-2007 09:38 PM

Of course we can. Then we can have a long discussion about how Billy Gunn should have been the WWE champion.

The One 03-08-2007 09:40 PM

Yea! This thread is taking a turn for the better...so, is there were I lay out my Alienoid three page rant that nobody will ever fully read about how I would have booked it???

Xero 03-08-2007 09:42 PM

Yes, yes it is.

The One 03-08-2007 09:45 PM

*ahem*

Raw opens, whoever is champ comes out, Billy Gunn makes his entrance to a chorus of cheers, 27 seconds later, Fame-Asser, Billy Gunn is new Champ.

Hey that didn't take too long at all. :p

The One 03-08-2007 09:46 PM

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, while all that is going on Hogan is being blow tourched to death in a back ally, and all the Kliq is doing lines of coke off hookers asses...oh and JBL is giving commentary on all three events at once...

The only problem with that is that if you freeze Michaels in his prime, then you occasionally have to put up with him losing his smile, suffering dubious injuries, and screwing pink-clad Canadians.

Theo Dious 03-09-2007 08:26 AM

Oh and for my answer, Jericho. I'm not exactly sure where his prime was, or if he's even ever passed it, but at least then we'd have him forever.

Reggie05 03-09-2007 09:01 AM

Shawn Michaels or Bret Hart. I'll go with Hart since Michaels is still great past his prime.

The truth is he was never allowed to really reach it. He had a great career, but in 2001/2002, he could have easily been the top star, since he had hit his stride and was ready to take the ball and run.

My pick would probably be Austin, or The Rock.

Corndad 03-09-2007 09:45 AM

Lex Luger.

Seriously I say Bret Hart.

The Ravishing One 03-09-2007 12:05 PM

Steve Austin.

The MAC 03-09-2007 12:46 PM

Wrestler : Bret Hart without a doubt.

Theo Dious 03-09-2007 12:55 PM

The One 03-09-2007 02:10 PM

Arnold HamNegger 03-09-2007 02:12 PM

Brian Fucking Pillman

MLW 03-09-2007 03:39 PM

The Undertaker!!! He is the only one who would make sence...being dead and all...his prime can never end!

ClockShot 03-09-2007 04:00 PM

Oh god. So many a choice. I'll go with Owen Hart.

Russenmafia 03-09-2007 06:17 PM

Still the greatest performer of the 1990's WWF. HBK from 1994-1998 was the fucking MAN.

What Would Kevin Do? 03-09-2007 07:28 PM

Brian Pillman

How would him never cleanly dropping a title be a bad thing? And as far as pink clad Canadians...Bret Screwed Bret...nah you know what...Screw Bret. If he was really the best there was, he would have been from America. And as far as best there ever will be...well...all sources point to no.

MmMmMm. Totally biased shit talk of the Hart family makes me happy.
