Pink Floyd vs. Led Zeppelin.

Discuss.

Haven't heard enough Floyd, but I know I like some Zep tunes.

Don't get me wrong, I love Led Zeppelin as much as the next guy, but Pink Floyd is superior.

Pink Floyd just knows how to lay it down so much smoother than Led Zeppelin. I don't discount the musical prowess of either band, but just have a far greater respect for Floyd in general. Plus, Robert Plant's voice begins to piss me off after listening to him for long enough.

Zepplin

Though they are two completely different sounding bands..

It's like saying "Tupac or The GZA".. Sure they are both "rap" but they are two completely different ends of the spectrum..

Sometimes it becomes necessary to compare apples and oranges. This is one of those times.

Pink Floyd, with ease. This is not a tough question at all, and Zeppelin is a quite good band, thus showing the true excellency of Floyd.

I like Pink Floyd way better, but that's just me.

I can see why people would like Zeppelin more.

I am more into weird ass music though, so Floyd easily.

Dazed and Confuzed is a great song.

I love them both but I would say Pink Floyd is better. I would still be happy listening to either though.

I've always found Floyd to be better chilling music.

So Pink Floyd it is.

if I had to choose, it'd be Zep. But both are awesome.

Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd are fairly close on the spectrum, to be precise.

If I ever start a band, I may name it this.

Both are great but if I had to choose it would be Mötley Crüe.

Zepplin is good. Floyd is brilliant.

Not really..

Floyd was more laid back, groovy shit.. Zepplin was more distorted hard rock closer to the likes of Sabbath..

My answer is whichever one will allow me to fingerbang more chicks.

Dont really care for either

but Zepplin

Both are heavily blues influenced rock, most evident in the guitar work. While Floyd was more progressive and diverse, their similarities are not small.

Heard too much of both from my dad to be able to pick one over the other. Thats not to say they aren't great though, both are definatley classic milestone stuff.
