Danny and I are both familiar with the word "Jihad" and its actual meaning. He's half Iranian, I'm one of the six Americans who has taken the time to develop a rudimentary but functional understanding of cultures other than my own.

Next time you see something that strikes you as culturally or religiously problematic, remember the Hassaning incident, remember that many of the people here have known each other for many years, and that we have developed our own culture.

Nerd culture, that sometimes makes wrestling jokes and sometimes makes jokes completely unrelated to wrestling, but culture nonetheless.

To reiterate what was said in the other thread a while ago...

Could you imagine how poorly society would view wrestling if it, say included characters from foreign culture who poorly reflected their supposed nation of origin or religion?
