Disturbia [2007]
Disturbia [2007] After his father's death, Kale becomes sullen, withdrawn, and troubled -- so much so that he finds himself under a court-ordered sentence of house arrest. His mother, Julie, works night and day to support herself and her son, only to be met with indifference and lethargy. The walls of his house begin to close in on Kale. He becomes a voyeur as his interests turn outside the windows of his suburban home towards those of his neighbors, one of which Kale begins to suspect is a serial killer. But, are his suspicions merely the product of cabin fever and his overactive imagination? Shia LeBouf is in it. He's in a lot of movies in the past few years. This movie kind of reminded me of the one with Tom Hanks finding out his neighbors are killers. Do you guys think it's gonna be decent? |
Grace, come here. There's a sinister looking kid I want you to see.
|
This film reminds you of The Burbs, huh.
|
Just the similarity where they are spying on their neighbors and think one is a killer.

This looks like crap, and Shia sucks. I know of a movie eerily similar to this but miles better. And it's not The 'Burbs. |
It also reminds me of that Alfred Hitchcock movie Rear Window...
|
Looks bloody awful

shia should just have stuck with even stevens. now that was some quality work.
remember BEANS?! |
I take my hat off to Dave Norse any time.
But he can do SO much better than this. I'll pass. |
I'm actually somewhat intrigued by this. I mean, I doubt it will be a classic or anything, but Donnie Darko meets Rear Window could have some potential.
|
can somebody please take a new angle on the i-am-unable-to-leave-my-house-and-i-have-to-watch-my-neighbors-out-of-the-window storyline ...
|
Vacancy looks a hundred times better.
|
After watching the trailer i don't need to sit through the whole film as i now know everything that happens.
Worst.....trailer....ever! |

It was surprisingly pretty good. I would definetely recommend it. It's a nice little suspense story. |
