What next gen console/s do you own?
 

I currently own a 360 and I'm gonna get a ps3 in June.
In your opinion which is the best?
IMO The PS3, Due to the fact that I've had all playstations and they are my type of games, yeah I like my 360 but It just doesn't have the same feel that a playstation has.

I own all three. The 360 is probably the best of the three for right now, but I still love my PS3 more :heart:


The Wii, while it has it's hilarious and fun moments, can get old pretty fast. For me anyways. Most of the games out now just seem like the companies are trying to do everything with the wiimote possible, instead of actually just making the games good.

I have a Wii. I'm not actually too big on the whole motion thing, but the Virtual Console is a great idea, and my childhood memories of Super Nintendo coerced me into getting one. Nintendo needs to get some great games for this generation out, though.

I'm looking into getting an Xbox 360. I'm a huge fan of the Dead or Alive franchise, and BioWare traditionally makes awesome games. If Mass Effect is good, and Team Ninja continues to develop for them, Microsoft will have me hooked.

I got all three right now.

I'm playing my Wii often right now. I get my workout on WiiSports, having a blast with Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the VC, and it's a computer hub all in one.

Second in line comes my PS3. The majority of my games are PS2. And I got about 5 PS3 games. However, sony keeps losing titles left and right. And are getting games out really slow. I got Armored Core a few weeks ago, played like 4 missions. And put it down and switched to my Wii.

Xbox360 is my least played system. Not alot of stuff has caught my eye in the last 6-8 months. If Halo 1 and 2 and Gears of War were longer, It probably would be in the #2 spot right now. But, come late May, early June, Mass Effect hits stores and my 360 may shoot to the top of my list.

Considering that the PS3 is losing a lot of their exclusives, I will likely completely skip it this gen and just buy a used one for cheap sometime next gen. Probably will get a Wii eventually considering the price and the VC.

I'm going to get a new pc for gaming also because the one I use now is very old...

I have a Wii. I'd like to get a 360 one day, but am waiting for more games that I really want to play. Right now the only game that I really want to play will be GTA IV. I have no intentions on getting a PS3.

I have a Wii but I don't play it very often. I plan to get a 360 Elite though.

Majority of the time I play my PC though. I would love to buy a new one once DX10 is worth it. Crysis, Spore, Unreal Tournament 3, oh man.

I have no intentions of getting a Wii. I had a dream once that I got one and was playing some game on it, but halfway through the dream, the controller turned into a ping-pong paddle without me knowing it. I continued playing ping pong in the dream. When I woke up I realized that 250 bucks to play ping pong is a waste of money.

I'd get a 360, but I hate Bill Gates and fanboys.

I'll have the Wii strictly for Nintendo's games. Should some 3rd party developer come up with something worthwhile, great, but it's all about Smash Bros and company.

Nintendo may have gotten more 3rd party support this time but it hasn't done them any good. All the games, that aren't by Nintendo, pretty much bomb pretty easily. That's the worst part about coming up with a controller like that. You'll either have a hit or a complete bomb. There's not much in between.

I wish I hadn't actually bought my Wii.

Just to point out, the Wii is not a next generation console. It is in the same generation as PS2 and regular Xbox. It just has a motion sensor controller.

Uh oh.

Give me a machine with better specs AND a motion sensor controller and you've got yourself a next-gen console. Till then, it's a gamecube with technology from the days of duckhunt and the guncon games.

I know what you're saying and I agree, but technically, being Nintendo's release for this "generation", it is their next generation.

And our generation was stupid enough to accept it. :(
