Another WWE Superstar upset about being left off WM

We previously reported that Ric Flair was quite upset about being left off the Wrestlemania 23 card. Carlito has nuclear heat for criticizing the WWE publicly for leaving him off the card as well. Add Hardcore Holly to the list of disgruntled WWE superstars upset about being left off the Wrestlemania 23 line up. Holly had postponed elbow surgery as he claimed writer Dave Lagana had told him he was heading into Wrestlemania working a major program with ECW World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley that would culminate at the 4/1 PPV. Holly complained that he put himself in danger of further injuring himself while working with the bad elbow, and worked in considerable pain holding off surgery until after Wrestlemania to be available to work the show at Ford Field. Lagana is blaming outside forces, while outside forces are blaming Lagana.

Did Holly miss all those Raws where they had all those spots with Lashley and Umaga? I think Trump may have been there too.

Come on, Bob. It's not like this is the FIRST WrestleMania you were excluded from. I don't think Holly has been on a WrestleMania card since he won the Hardcore Title at WrestleMania 2000.

HOLLY: "Vince... I want my Mania match."

MCMAHON: "Well, fine then. I guess I'll just call up Donald Trump and tell him not to fly in for RAW tomorrow night since HARDCORE HOLLY wants his spot at Mania. I guess I'll have to change all the promotional posters for the Battle of Billionaires too. Maybe I should give you and Lashley the main event. That will buy more viewers than a hair vs. hair match between me and Trump. RIGHT?!"

HOLLY: "Um.... yeah?"

MCMAHON: "Get the fuck out of my office."

I'd pick Holly vs. Funaki (with Funaki going over. heheh) over the Diva match anytime.

nothings changed. This guy sucks and needs to retire, him not being on the card helped the event. He only has a job because hes in good with all the stripminers who think he's a tough cookie and old school and get off watching him stiff talent that's "not from the old school"

I liked him as a tag wrestler, not so much as a singles.

Only liked him singles when there was a Hardcore Championship.

I don't however, think he should've been on WM - unlike Flair, who SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON WM, NO MATTER WHAT. That's totally BS that he wasn't on.
