I can't enjoy any of his on camera stuff knowing he's such a dick backstage. I can understand ribbing, but c'mon, there's no need for mean spirited bullying. Especially in a work environment. Who the fuck died and made JBL "untouchable?"

He gets no respect from me. And not the same way I don't respect Hulk Hogan for his politicking, because despite his backstage antics, at least Hogan was a big draw in the WWF and WCW.

Umm...look at the source of this report: The Observer. Almost everyone understands that Meltzer can put his own opinions into his stories and bring them to you as fact (I mentioned this in a previous post somewhere else), and be so biased that he would make a good companion to Bill O'Reilly.

That being said, I don't doubt he rubbed JBL (or many others for that matter) the wrong way. I thought he sucked ass from day one, and I'm not sure why Vince still has hard ons for him. Personally, I would NOT mis the Miz in the LEAST.

Finally, a bit of a footnote: When I hovered over the subject on the topic list, the tooltip that popped up to show a preview of the actual text only read "But fuck him". That coupled with the subject line made me want to either take off all of my clothes and cum all over my computer screen or just say "EW!!".

This leads to something I've been thinking... why would a still fairly new guy in the company pull any kind of rib, let alone a MAJOR rib, on a very well-placed veteran, let alone JBL? Surely if we internet slugs know that JBL is a dick, he would have figured it out being backstage? We're talking about the guy who supposedly damn near sodomized Jerry Lawler's son to teach him a lesson. If you got hired at a big company and you decided to let the air out of the tires of a guy who was good friends with the boss? Hardly. All that being said, I'd like to know just what this "major rib" was before we get to making judgments. And, in closing, Meltzer is a dick.
