Update on Matt Cappotelli

The following statement was issued on WWE.com:

"Matt Cappotelli, former Tough Enough winner and Ohio Valley Wrestling Champion, underwent brain surgery today to remove a growing brain tumor. Doctors called the surgery a success."

Good for him, that brings a smile to my face :)

No-sell that cancer, Cappotelli!!

I sure as hell hope he knocks this shit out on its ass. Matt deserves way better.

I hope he gets fit enough to wrestle if that's what he wants, he never got the shot that I kept hearing he deserved so much.

Anyone know what the after effects are once you've had this kind of surgery, can you make a full recovery?

Good shit.

I just want him to come back and slap the taste out of Holly's mouth

KayfabeMan 05-02-2007 01:34 PM

Thank God. That's great freaking news. I'm so glad to hear that this turned out this way and not negatively. Good for him, and I wish him the best with recovering and such :y:

KayfabeMan 05-02-2007 01:37 PM

Also, from what I've heard [to address someone who asked above] while not impossible, it's highly unlikely that he'll return to wrestling in the in-ring part of it. They said that for most people who've undergone this procedure, that often permanent disability is your best option, to play it safe.
