So I have this iPod right
 

and I'm uploading my library to it, but it tells me there are some songs that are not in the right audio format and cannot be played by my ipod. Now these songs play in WMP, but not in itunes. What am I missing here? (and yes, they're in mp3 format)

WMP plays files even if they are incorrectly labeled sometimes. Find alternnate downloadss of those songs.

They're official, legal downloads though, so they should be all good.

Can't, they're live recordings of a not-very-big band. I'm gonna try converting the files to a different bitrate or something, because I have no idea what is going on.

Just another way for companies to try and limit how their media is played.

I can burn them via WMP and play them elsewhere, just an itunes/pod thing I guess.
