Who would be your "dream team" for a booking team?

If you could make a booking team consisting of 5 people (ignoring if they could get along or not), who would be your head booker, #2 guy, and the other guys on the roundtable.

JS's Booking Dream Team

Head Booker: Paul Heyman
Almighty #2: Jim Cornette
Terry Funk
Kevin Nash
Dusty Rhodes

FourFifty 05-17-2007 01:32 PM

Ah, armchair booking... Well, my five bookers would be as follows.....

The Million Dollar Man
Jim Cornette
Eric Bischoff
Paul Haymen
Vince Russo with a gun held to his head the first time he tries to fuck around

Theo Dious 05-17-2007 01:34 PM

Kevin Nash and whoever he wants.

BigDaddyCool 05-17-2007 01:42 PM

Me, me and me.

Fuck Alienoid, there is no way in hell I'm pushing Val Venis.

Theo Dious 05-17-2007 01:54 PM

Oh just let him play with the undercard, that way it'll be half-watchable and you won't have to sully your hands on it.

All working together, with Vince McMahon supervising

Paul Heyman
Jim Cornette
Vince Russo
Eric Bischoff
Mick Foley

FourFifty 05-17-2007 03:17 PM

After reading Mick Foley's The Hardcore Diaries I can't take Foley seriously as a booker. It's one thing for Ric Flair to be 60 years old and still in the ring because he has a lot of class and hasn't aimed for the main event, but Foley wanting to push Terry to a main event role with a storyline dealing with Vince.... yea.... sure..... The fans outside of Texas will buy Terry Funk as a legit threat.....

Jeritron 05-17-2007 03:20 PM

it was a main event role for One Night Stand. It was just a substoryline to prepare him as a legit threat to Edge. Nothing more. Good to see you got the point...Especially since Foley got half of his way and it worked out well, and Vince admitted to being wrong.

NeanderCarl 05-17-2007 05:01 PM

Vince McMahon
Pat Patterson
Paul Heyman
Jim Cornette
Raven

Or if Vince McMahon doesn't count, add Vince Russo to that team, on the condition that he has nowhere near the final say.

Heyman, Bisch, Russo. Just them. Too many people, too many different opinions = lots of bickering and nothing getting done.

And Heyman and Bischoff hold veto power over Russo and any retarded elctrified cages on a pole matches he might come up with.

AdrianM 05-17-2007 08:32 PM

Heyman
Bischoff
Vince Russo
Jake Roberts

Hogan. :shifty:

Vastardikai 05-18-2007 03:51 PM

Vince McMahon: Man with the Final Say, so Lead Booker By Default
Paul Heyman: Second in Command, Have him focus on the Main Direction of The Company and the Main Event.
Jim Cornette: Have him focus on the Midcard (IC-Title level stuff).
Michael Hayes: Have him focus on Tag Team Wrestling.
Eric Bischoff: Have him focus on Cruiserweights.

St. Jimmy 05-18-2007 07:33 PM

Heyman and Russo. So many worked shoots.

hb2k 05-18-2007 08:29 PM

Heyman did worked shoots because it was an audience that it applied to and would work for, and clearly it did because of the impact he had. He never used them in a position where they wouldn't be effective because he has his finger on the pulse. Russo on the other hand is a goof, doesn't understand why things work, and just writes shit

Skippord 05-18-2007 09:54 PM

Raven

and only Raven

Super V 05-19-2007 04:31 AM

Whoever was the final booker for WCW while Scott Steiner was their World Champion. Everything had begun to click at around that time. Also Michael Hayes since SmackDown has been putting a nice streak of great shows since WrestleMania.

PepperCarrotMan 05-19-2007 08:16 AM

Russo, Eric Bischoff, Hogan, Nash.

Mr. JL 05-19-2007 04:40 PM

#1: Paul Heyman - ECW's booking was superb
#2: ME
-Mick Foley: A pretty creative guy
-Lance Storm: Logic and simplicity
-Jeff Hardy: Might have some original ideas
