In your opinion, which has been worse?

Well, what?

IC Champion 06-06-2007 11:47 AM

They are equally as bad, although Cena is able to hold onto his belt, unlike HHH who likes to lose to add some drama and then recapture it against all odds, oh yea, this was when he was the biggest heel in the business. God Damn HHH his 10 reigns in 5 years

Xero 06-06-2007 12:05 PM

From a political standpoint, Hunter wins out bar-none. From a "Why is this shit on my TV" standpoint, Cena.

IC Champion 06-06-2007 12:12 PM

Im agreeing with Xero.

Mercury Bullet 06-06-2007 12:13 PM

I care far more about getting that shit off my TV.

Politicking isn't inherently bad. A superman babyface that nobody gives a damn about is. That's why I have to say Cena is worse.

Atleast he didnt need to fuck the daughter of the boss to get ahead, though in all fairness I woulda fucked her too, If I had previously been fucking a man.

Mr. JL 06-06-2007 12:24 PM

I'd rather watch Cena hold the belt, than watch HHH with the belt.

Exactly. Triple H forced his way into the position he's in. Cena was put in there just to rehash the Hulkamania formula.

Me too.

BigDaddyCool 06-06-2007 01:03 PM

There are too reason why I say Cena is worse.

1) I'm a HHH mark.

2) Heels should have long riegns, faces should be the challengers. When Cena is champion forever, it doesn't look like he has any legit challengers (same problem with Hogan, they had to keep getting monsters). The only time a face had a decent long reign was Ston Cold because Vince was still in a high position.

The One 06-06-2007 01:24 PM

Cena by far. Hunter's reigns were at least entertaining and I felt like he could carry (and many times was the ONLY one who could carry) the top spot.

Also, HHH put on a lot of incredible matches while being Champ. Cena to date has put on, um, one kind of worthy Main Event, and that was ONLY because of the crowd reaction in the Ballroom at ONS II.

Though if you you ask me, Lashley and Batista are FAR worse than Cena, and miles below Hunter.

Yeah but neither of them has really had time to be called a "belt-hog" yet.

Mercury Bullet 06-06-2007 01:38 PM

Batista is a contendership hog.

Batista's gay.

James Steele 06-06-2007 01:53 PM

The only arguments people have against HHH is that he should have dropped the belt to Booker T., Kane, and RVD during his "Reign of Doom". Would you really have wanted him to drop the belt to Scott Steiner?

I think that might be worse than Cena belt hoggin. All Batista does is lose, lose, lose clean, lose, lose clean, lose, lose, lose...yet he is the perpetual number one contender for the title.

Mercury Bullet 06-06-2007 01:55 PM

And as much as I hate the fat bastard, Mark Henry, technically speaking, would be a more deserving number one contedner at the moment.

As would MVP.

As would Kane.

As would...(Insert Name Here)

Im Sorry Batista is a Communist.

Mercury Bullet 06-06-2007 02:00 PM

In theory (True Marxist theory), communism is the ideal form of government.

:shifty:

So Batista is a Soviet Communist.

I honestly don't know

Destor 06-06-2007 05:02 PM

It's not so much as one guy "hogging the belt" is my issue. It's more about the the lack of supense. I would like to believe that maybe, just maybe, tonight the champ is going to drop the strap. Both HHH's run and Cena's need more drama.

Anybody Thrilla 06-06-2007 05:03 PM

Cena's not hogging. They're just not taking it off of him. Triple H was just absolutely ridiculous.

??

John Cena is actually worse from 05-now than Triple H was during 02-05.

Anybody Thrilla 06-06-2007 05:18 PM

Cena's not politicking to keep the belt is all I'm saying.

Rob 06-06-2007 05:19 PM

Cena is also the biggest draw in the company.

No, Cena just sells the most merchandise. Cena may technically be the "biggest draw", but thats easy to claim when you are forced down the throats and in the main events for the past 3 years. I still believe HHH was the biggest draw for WM22 and HBK for WM23 and that is not because I am a mark. People payed to see HHH or HBK beat Cena.

Rob 06-06-2007 05:27 PM

Believe what you want pal. You usually do.

IC Champion 06-06-2007 05:28 PM

And being the Biggest Draw in the company today is a huge accomplishment, especailly in the state the company's in with all the injurys, and James Steele is right, the past two Wrestlemania's the poeple wanted to watch HHH and HBK beat Cena, I know whats why I watched them down, and actually payed money.

Anybody Thrilla 06-06-2007 05:32 PM

That still makes Cena a draw, though.

Anybody Thrilla 06-06-2007 05:32 PM

Whether you wanted to see him win or lose, you still wanted to see him.
