graphics card
as most of you know i'm getting a new computer but i'm just going with an integrated graphics card for now, because gaming is not the reason i am buying it... but lets say later i change my mind... is it easy to change the graphics card when you buy a better one?
|
Very easy. Next to installing memory it's one of the easiest things to install. You just take it and put it in the top slot and plug everything in. Then install the software.

shouldnt be hard
just make sure you have the correct drivers as the card you get may already have newer ones out |
No.
Take off side of case > undo the cords to top card > put in new card > plug in cords. Then just download new drivers from the company website. |
ok ninti and ds thanks

No, he said its an intergrated video card...meaning built right into the motherboard. badguy...when you buy the system, just make sure the motherboard has an AGP slot, and ask the sales rep how hard it is to disable the onboard video. |
Either way. You don't have to disable the intergrated video card to enable the AGP slot. Once there is a card in the AGP slot it takes over as the master card. It will override the IVC.
Even if you wanted to disable it, it's a click or two in the BIOS and it's disabled. If you do decide to do that, Bad Guy, just post here for instructions how and I, or anyone with the information, will help. |
