Sting turns heel in WCW.
 

Just watched Fall Brawl 99 where it was Sting vs Hogan. Luger came out and gave Sting a bat and he leveled Hogan with it to win the title. And Tony Schivonte says "The question of who can you trust is not Sting!"

Don't remember this at all. What happened after that and how long was Sting a heel?

They probably dropped it as soon as they went off air. Plus, how would him knocking Hogan's head off turn him heel?

Was this during the Wolfpac era and "Lobster Sting"?

No it was the time after Hogan turned back to red and yellow from the NWO and Sting was wearing his usual black and white.

I loved lobster Sting.

As much as I hate to say it, I was such a Wolfpac Mark. I even liked Konnan!

Nash during that period was the best thing I ever saw.

Even When Disco wore the black and red and kept trying to get in, even that was good.




Now that I look back, I was retarded. It was all so bad.

Sting was heel from Fall Brawl 99 till sometime in Nov. I believe he turned face again after Luger turned on him.

The Sting heel turn was very awful. WCW tried to act like Sting was the most awful person alive and it STILL didnt work.

Yeah, WCW 96-98 ruled. This also happened during the start of the Russo era in WCW

Yeah show one. It was over by the Thunder show 3 days later.

I remember the vignette that explained why Sting was bad. It was funny because they tried to claim some of the most ridiculous stuff, ever. Like:

* nWo Sting was employed by Sting.
* The mannequin in the Hummer wearing the Sting match was really Sting.
* I think they tried to blame him for the death of Louie Spicolli at one point. (Not really)

The thing was, it seemed like the only reason Sting was heel was because he was hanging out with uber-heel Luger. He was still acting like a babyface. And the fans really didn't buy it.
