Have they actually dropped the death angle?

If so, has Vinnie been on TV since the angle ended (Besides the tribute, which doesn't count), or have they just stopped talking about it.

That would be the later.

Not even a mention of his name in the past couple weeks.

Yeah, the angle is gone, and Vince gets about as much mention as Benoit does.

I think they're kind of in a dull period where they really don't know what to do. Their biggest storyline that they probably planned out was dropped within two weeks. So now I htink they're just kinda throwing shit at the wall hoping something sticks while they make up new storylines.

Vince: Who the hell got shit all over my wall!
Creative Staff: Ummm...
Vince: It's BRILLIANT! I just got an idea for a new storyline!

I can't argue. Well, I could, but I think you're pretty much on the nose. They got caught flatfooted. I mean, they should have known better, but they didn't, and now they're stuck.

I was just wondering. Benoit's death left a bad taste in my mouth, and the more I heard, the less I could stomach actually watching. But I was wondering if the angle was over, and if Vince was back. I imagine they will leave him offscreen for at least a few months, til the attention dies down. I don't think they'll bring back the angle, so they'll probably bank on us forgetting. Or just not making an issue of it.

I think even if the Benoit thing didn't happen, we'd still see Vince on TV again.

Of course we would. The evident plan was for Vince to have faked his own death. I'm just talking in the specifics.

Some could argue that Benoit is brilliant for going the way that he did. After Eddie's death he must've known that there was only one way to go without WWE whoring out his name in storylines after he died...
