I remember way back when, when TNA brought out the new belts, Cornette said something about taking out the glass ceiling of TNA and making it possible for anyone to get a title shot. After the titles had been won, he then makes a match where a singles competitor could possibly win up with not only the X Division or World title, but also both tag team titles. As we all know, Samo Joe won the tag team titles in said match. Then Cornette continues to book a match in which either Angle or Joe will be the single holder of all the titles. How the hell does having one guy with all the titles remove a glass ceiling?

It is this kind of retarded long term booking that is keeping TNA the small regional company it is. If people want to see retarded long term booking, WWE already has that.

I wish people would watch the show on a weekly basis, not watch it once and think they know what's going on and say TNA is retarded.

It's no more retarded then RAW, and better then both Smackdown and ECW.

Also when you have an hour of TV each week, 2 months is really that long for a feud. I could see if Joe and Kurt being the main focus, but there alot more going on.

Pretty much the whole Joe/Angle is done with, and they have Angle defending all three titles at the next PPV.

1) ECW is the best hour of wrestling on TV right now.

2) TNA is still retarded.

3) 2 months is a short fued that was rushed. They could have dragged it out a bit more.

TNA has been pretty bad since September.

I'm gonna argue with someone who thinks WWE is any less retarded then TNA.

I like TNA, but I'll agree, but even admit that they've pretty much always been bad. Occasionally IMPACT will be really good, but overall, it's just really stupid. Fuck!

TNA has actually been good for the 3 months or so, give or take a week every now and then.

You know, you'd sound less stupid if the angle BDC was talking about would somehow have more logic behind it if he watched it regularly. It wouldn't. It's fucking stupid if you're just tuning in, and it's actually probably more retarded if you have been watching for more than 60 seconds.

We can thank Christian Cage and the new cocky/slightly goofy Kurt Angle for that. And maybe even somewhat on Scott Steiner. I never thought I'd say that, but his mic work against Team 3D has been really good. This is the best Steiner's been on the mic in years.

I love how people read forums, and read results, and think they know whats going on, especially since you don't even watch wrestling KK, yet you come to these boards everyday to complain about it but anyways. My point is, WWE is just as awful as TNA, neither one is putting out stellar must see TV.

I'd rather watch TNA, and their "retarded" storylines, then Vince and his "bastard", or Batista chasing the title for the last 5 months, or John Morrison wrestle CM Punk every week.

No way is TNA better than WWE.

I don't watch WWE. I've been explicit on that point. That still doesn't make TNA any more defendable, which is what you're doing. Now, if that is the case, as it seems to be, then you're a fucking idiot, because BDC's own first post says, "If people want to see retarded long term booking, WWE already has that."

TNA does have retarded long term booking. Sorry, it's true. While I'd agree it's marginally better than WWE programming right now, that's a pretty minor plus, and for some reason, the smarks are all over ECW.

Frankly, I don't want either retarded booking stance, and I think it's bad that the argument comes down to "I'd rather watch this pile of crap than the other pile of crap," but that's what your argument hinges on. You're not able to affiratively say that TNA is good, because it's not. Even you seem to be aware of that.

I think TNA and WWE are pretty much on par with each other. Now, WWE is the more established company so of course they have the ratings and finances at the moment. However, both are equally mediocre right now.

Maybe Cornette made a slip of the tongue. When he said "Glass Ceiling" he actualy meant "Glass Floor"!?

As in..."Just cos you're a multi time World Champ and Olympic Gold Medalist who is fighting at the top of the card doesn't mean you can't win a title that is pretty much mid-card / cruiserweight territory. And why should the fact that you don't even have a tag team partner stop you from winning the Tag Team Titles? Remove these competative restrictions immidiately!"

Now I like TNA. In fact it's the only weekly show I watch regularly but sometimes there is no defending it.

I skipped the two tag matches from Hard Justice due in part to the fact that neither had any meaning (although the fact that these programmes were thrown together out of nowhere and at least 6 of the 8 men featured in them are too old / fat / broken down to entertain me might have something to do with it)

TNA is retarded with some of it's booking. Especially lately. They had a good couple of months a while back but now it seems to have run out of steam.

But, as stated a dozen times already...WWE is just as retarded.

Which makes it all the more frustrating. Whilst WWE is on a serious downturn with regards to entertainment, TNA has a golden chance to "bring it".

Given the mainstream media hype around the arrival of Pacman Jones TNA could really do with a run of solid shows to push them to the "next level".

Forget Pacman Jones, TNA needs Super Mario Marella.
