I have a very strong feeling that Orton maybe, maybe, MAYBE will be the one to take the title off of Cena. But I want to see how you feel. Vote or post, I don't care, but if you don't claim it in this thread your official rights of "I called it" after the fact are null and void.

So, out with it, who will be leaving SummerSlam with the Title?

Its hard to call, because Orton has pretty much dominated Cena in the buildup, which points to a Cena win. Of course, they could be going for the swerve.... But I see them sticking to their 'successful' formula that they've used month after month. Cena wins.

This will be one of those times that I'm pulling for Cena.

I can't stand him. I would rather see anyone else in this match.

Orton at least has his moments where I like him, and I have tried so hard to like Cena...I really have. I've hated him since he was teaming with Bull Buchanon, but I tried over and over again to get behind him or find what people like about him. In truth I don't hate him like others seem to, he just evokes next to nothing from me reaction wise...well...that damn spinning belt makes me want to shit a brick, but Cena himself does nothing for me.

Orton at least has a sense of worth watching. I'm not a huge mark of his or anything, but he plays his ego maniac, "look at how great I am", Legend Killer gimmick well. So I'll at least give him that.

I just want that goddamn belt to go away.

I had to vote cena, as much as I hate him.. I have a feeling that Triple H will get involved somehow distracting Randy or something. But ya knowing Superma- I mean John Cena, he's going to win with his favorite(and only) 7 moves.

My #1 choice is Orton.

But for some reason I could see Kennedy walking out with it. Pull him out of the IC title match, say he didn't make it to the arena. Then, before the main event, Vince comes out and says he's found out who his kid is. It winds up being Kennedy, and Vince puts him into the main event where he pins Orton for the title.

This puts Kennedy in arguably the highest heel position on the brand and would set up a Cena/Kennedy feud for a few months.

Cena's going to win...

If Orton wins, they better have some sort of crazy, spectacular ending in the works. A clean win (very unlikely) or something along the lines of an RKO onto the title behind the ref's back would make me want to punch a baby.

I think Orton will be the guy... just not at Summerslam. This is based on the reverse logic that it makes sense for a "historic" (Cena's been champ for almost a year... again... whoever takes the belt off of him will automatically get some sort of rub) to change hands at the company's second biggest PPV. Therefore, since it makes sense, it won't happen.

I also want to test my theory that the writers have literally made the PPV decision the opposite of every show-before-the-PPV result, because I feel like it's really been like that.

I don't know who to cheer for in that mathc mostly on account that I don't know which is the lesser of 2 evils. So I'm going to cheer for a sniper.

I really hope Cena wins, he sucks, but at least he doesn't suck as bad as Orton.

Whoever mentioned sticking Kennedy in the World title picture, I don't agree. He needs one more great feud with an established main eventer, like he had with the Undertaker late '06, but this time coming out with the win.

I feel the same way about Orton, I wouldn't buy him as a credible Champion, he's done fuck all other than kick hasbeens in the head. I do actually like Orton quite a bit, but I don't think he's been built up enough to be a threat.

Superman FTW. But I don't care too much because after the IC and ECW title match anything else will be a bonus.

I was thinking more along the lines of the WWE's booking style. Basically, if you're not in the top main event you don't mean shit.

If it were up to me I'd give him a very long run with the IC title, using it in main events of RAWs and maybe one PPV.

Hopefully he does win the title and he does have a very strong, long run.

Do I want to see Cena as the champ any longer? No.

Do I want to see Orton as the champ right now? Not particularly.

Do I want to see Kennedy as the champ right now? He's not ready for it.

....who do I want to see walk out with the title?

This is a lose, lose, lose, lose, lose situation.

With that said I voted for Orton on the grounds that he is not John Cena.

His money is stacked fat plus he can't turn the swell off.
