Bob Backlund was reallllly boring
 

I have been watching his old WWF Title matches on WWE Classics and man he was horrible. I am glad Hogan came in shortly thereafter and took the title even he was about 100 times more exciting than Bobo. Anyone got an arguement with videos to add to this statement?

eh, for the time, he wasn't bad. He was a real wrestler and was a huge babyface for the company. I can see how by todays standards he would be considered boring.

Backlund has at least become entertaining in his old age, his bits on TNA are quite good... difficult to not cringe but good nonetheless!

Jordan just enjoys being an ass. I find that if you ignore him, everything works out better.

Backlund was a wrestler. Not a gimmick, not a preformer, not some circus clown or flying jackass. When it was still about wrestling Backlund was the goods.
What am I saying? Backlund still can be awesome. Have him start a stable in TNA or WWE and give that man a mic. He's a great talker but during his hayday you didn't need to say much.

It hasn't been about wrestling for a century.

Nash as a heel was supposed to win the title off of Bret. But 2 things happened 1. Nash was getting face reactions and they started teasing that Nash would be face. 2. George Foreman knocked out Michael Moorer to become the oldest man to regain the Heavyweight Boxing title a few weeks before S Series 94 so Vince decided to copy that and put the belt on Backlund by beating Bret in the submission match and then having Nash get over as a face for his actions at S Series 94 and then beating Backlund in seconds at MSG a few days later.

Backlund I thought was a good wrestler and I liked him as Mr. Bob Backlund. He had a great performance at Royal Rumble 93 as well when he lasted over an hour in the ring.
