Santino Marella is the greatest thing on Raw
 

Haven't watched the Raw brand since I lost my cable for a month and have since kept forgetting, but I just saw Santino Marella's whole program with Farooq and Maria at the restaurant and how he talked to Regal beforehand and it was the greatest thing I've ever seen.

EDIT- I realize I haven't seen RAW so I cannot actually say for fact that he is the greatest thing on there, but I will refuse to change the subject of the thread.

The guy needs to be getting some title shots in the near future, tbh. I think he should get in between Kennedy/Hardy. It would make for a GREAT program, especially with the mic work Kennedy & Santino can produce. Hardy can either step HIS mic game up or let the stardom of those two rise.

lol. I'm liking him more and more tbh. He brings something "different" to the show imo. Bollocks if that's the case to anyone else, I enjoy his segments. Even if i don't know why.

Wasn't he IC Champion near the beginning of the year. Other people are in title programs right now I rather see rise...he can be held off re-entering his scene.

I can see him being a Honky Tonk Man type of IC Champion.

He is the type of guy people will cheer their asses of to see lose....but have him keep going over to build it. Give him a goon or something to help him keep the strap, as the heel that everyone wants to lose and knows will lose, but doesnt lose....


That makes no sense

I just don't want something GOOD that is happening on RAW to be ruined. I'm not saying the guy HAS to have the title to be over, but i don't want to see him used as some mic-savy jobber.

I swear, i want him to just start coming out before/during matches, and just talk shit about the wrestlers who are in the ring. It would give him great "TV heat".

I would like to see Val go over Santino, but I'll admit that is because I am a Val mark. Also, Santino doesn't need to win to be over. His vulnerability plays into his heel shtick. The fans are annoyed by him, and love to see him get his ass kicked. He doesn't need to suddenly get a John Cena push.

Santino is great, though. If he got a push (even over Val Venis) I would not complaint.

Also, if Santino Marella gets a thug, they need to debut in the segment where people assume Santino will be eating the Stunner. Have them come out, and beat the crap out of Stone Cold Steve Austin (although it will have to be fairly tame to protect his neck). I just can't think of a big guy under contract that the WWE isn't using.

There are always OVW guys.

Guys Charles Evans and even Vladimir Kozlov could be in that role.

Santino is a breath of fresh air on a roster seriously lacking personality.

He annoys me, and not in the "I'll pay to see him lose" sense.

KK there is very little on this earth that does not annoy you....cake, turkey and samurai swords being the only notatble exceptions.

They pretty much jobbed him out to Ron Simmons. Giving the guy a foundation of solid wins is not on the WWE's priorities.

Santino and William Regal need to interact more. If only Christian were still around. I'd pay to see a skit where Regal, Santino, Shelton Benjamin and Christian went clubbing, or something.
