Wrestling Forum Moments To Remember

I've been a member here coming on 6 years now and been using the site for close to 10. jesus christ.

anway, lets use this thread to list some memorable moments that have occured on here over the years. I don't care if you've been here a month or 12 years, you can list whatever was memorable to you. If you want to post quotes or links to certain thread, that would be great.

------------------------------------------------------------

I remember when poster Dark Kane showed up and talked the biggest shit and the thing was that he was being dead serious. At least I thought so. Then he posted those pics of himself playing guitar in some piece of shit shack he lived in

I remember when a bunch of us took over some poor soul's website and basically detroyed it. He was being a clown though.

of course, I remember when captions used to be a big thing around here. Caption Crew and all that. I used to spend a lot of time with that shit. I think my most memorable one was the one with Sean O'Haire and his cage.

James Steele 11-26-2007 02:21 PM

The old captions threads were hilarious. Those threads actually got me to join the forums. There is also Gohan2K's spoiler spazz-out.

NoRoolz 11-26-2007 02:22 PM

Although not the most active poster (by quite a long shot) I have enjoyed some times on this forum over the years.

One thing that sticks out is when me, Xero Limit and some other guys invaded the WWE Chat and just owned a load of marks. Was funny at the time.

The old helmsphere 'Rate the Wrestler' threads were fun to do and something to look for on the page everytime you were on TPWW.

And this time for not so good reasons, the death of Eddie and Benoit. I was on the forums at the time of both of these deaths and there were so many people online all feeling the same as I did (before full Benoit story came out obv) but with Eddie especially. We all were gutted and even though I don't know any of you guys in person and even on here most don't know me, but it was cool that we all were like together at that time.

Back to more happy memories, I remember the classic 'WWE Lookalikes' thread which comes up every few months, I remember the first Brock/Hulk and Henry/Predator comparisons which were great.

I'll post more when I think of them.

The formation of TPWW Kliq. That is a good one.

BigDaddyCool 11-26-2007 02:28 PM

The RoH debates, those were fun too.

NoRoolz 11-26-2007 02:30 PM

Vermaat's "MAKE IT OR BREAK IT" Thread was the goods

Splaya 11-26-2007 03:10 PM

I remember that the wrestling forum was where we started c-fedding. So even though it wasn't popular with a lot of the members, that's one of my biggest moments to remember.

IC Champion 11-26-2007 03:13 PM

The day I joined TPWW was a historical one.

Fox 11-26-2007 03:15 PM

Lita's first botch.

Kane Knight 11-26-2007 03:15 PM

The nWo. It would still be going, but we're too lazy to actually work together.

c-fedding really gave the site something different. we had a nice little tight nit group who were having lots of fun. It was so new in the early days that we just had fun with it. Nobody cared about booking and shows getting up on time. Naitch really did a great job in the beginning and c-fedding grew and grew and grew. Then it even got it's own thread. I have lots of memories from this part of TPWW.

Kane Knight 11-26-2007 03:48 PM

I really do miss captioning. I know it's not the same as C-Fedding, but....

Xero 11-26-2007 03:55 PM

Captions > C-Fedding.

owenbrown 11-26-2007 04:02 PM

You forgot the retarded n00b search. :p

Captions. Even though I was bad at them.

FourFifty 11-27-2007 02:43 AM

CoTMs, scenes from a hat (god I wish I wasn't the only one bumping that thread every six months), reading other people use Gohan's spoiler spaz, The Ruse Report, just to name a few.

Jura 11-27-2007 04:20 AM

When I descended down upon TPWW forums from the heavens.

GD 11-27-2007 07:17 AM

Strangely enough, I remember the first ones, and even the ones at RZA forum where they originally started. Kind of miss them...damn WWE and their website security. :(
