WWE in HD at the Royal Rumble

According to HDTV news website EngadgetHD, WWE will finally be rolling out a major Pay-Per-View event in high-definition next month. This will be the first ever WWE broadcast in HD.

Time Warner Cable will offer WWE's Royal Rumble PPV event in HD when it airs on January 27, 2008. The show will air in 1080i resolution.

A high-definition WWE PPV comes 12 months after the Ultimate Fighting Championship aired its first HD PPV.

If WWE had been HD in 1994 we'd know who REALLY won the Royal Rumble!!!!!!!111 :rant::mad::rant::mad::rant::mad::rant::mad::rant::mad::rant: ...................... :shifty:

So basically they want to get the "So and so looks terrible" and "So and so has needle marks on his arms - he's taking roids" comments out of the way in one show.

HD on cable is ustter ass. If I wanted to see glitchy pictures slowed down with drops in the audio, I could watch the old scrambled analog versions.
