For all the things wrong in the WWE...

John Morrison & The Miz vs. Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore is a massive right. I just watched one of their matches, and I actually felt the adrenaline. I personally want to see Paul London & Brian Kendrick switch back to SmackDown!, or even make the move to ECW, and get Ashley back, and join the feud for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Mainly because Paul London and Jimmy Yang have that amazing chemistry that just results in great matches.

Juan 01-01-2008 03:33 AM

Yeah, they're last match on ECW was awesome.

GD 01-01-2008 03:45 AM

Does this mean that Jimmy and Moore will win their first piece of gold in the wwe? For the record they rock.

Xerzes 01-01-2008 04:03 AM

I want to set Mike Mizanin on fire.

GD 01-01-2008 04:09 AM

I guess his magnetism may vanish.

St. Jimmy 01-01-2008 04:36 AM

Whoooooo?

Rammsteinmad 01-01-2008 04:53 AM

I never thought I'd see the day people on here have positive things to say about Shannon Moore lol.

That said, I've always liked his in-ring ability since the WCW days.

It's been long overdue, in my opinion.

At first, they seem like a thrown together tag team (because they really are), but they work, in my opinion. They've got the history back some seven years, to when they were opponents in WCW. All they have to do is acknowledge that Jimmy Wang Yang was a Yung Dragon, which is fine, because they could just play up Josh Mathews' old line about Jimmy Yang being an actor. The story and chemistry is all there for the WWE to take advantage of.

These guys are just fun in the ring. It'll be a shame if we don't see some matches between the teams in 2008. We've got the 15 Minutes of Fame coming up, and hopefully we also get a 2/3 Falls Tag Team Match, and even a 30-minute Iron Man Tag.

Two guys they'll never use, one guy they shouldn't use, and a fourth guy who, admittedly, could probably be a serious deal is a good thing?

The two guys they'll never use excuse is null and void considering they are using these guys. You never know when it will end, but why can't it be enjoyed while it lasts.

The Miz is not anywhere near as crap as people make him out to be. A solid wrestler, who is improving all the time.

Kane Knight 01-01-2008 11:07 AM

It's not really null and void, but whatever makes you feel better.

Kane Knight 01-01-2008 11:12 AM

Well, I suppose you could argue they're being used in the same sense that everybody on the roster is being used....But that just kind of defeats the purpose.

Fox 01-01-2008 12:40 PM

Yeah, I like cruiserweights too.

TerranRich 01-01-2008 03:08 PM

Shannon Moore has the looks, the attitude, and the skill to be WWE's next Women's Champion.

What, he's willing to blow Mae Young while Vince watches and jerks off?

St. Jimmy 01-01-2008 04:31 PM

Small White Guys.

TerranRich 01-01-2008 05:16 PM

So what event was this match on? I never have the time to watch any of the three events, and with this ECW/SD merger, it should be even more fun trying to play catch-up.

No, they are being used. They are getting consistent TV time, and building momentum and wins. I'm not saying the WWE won't fuck it up, but it's a pretty indisputable fact that they are being used in the most literal sense of the word. You can't argue otherwise.

15 Minutes of Fame?

They had a few good matches on TV. They're not exactly the new Hardy Boys. They ARE, in fact, just a thrown-together team, and if they win the WWE Tag Titles it will certainly be short-lived.

When have the WWE EVER done a 2/3 Falls Tag match or a 30 Minute Iron Man Tag? EVER?

The WWE have done a 2/3 Falls Tag Team Match. I believe Edge & Rey Mysterio won the WWE Tag Team Championship from Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit in such a match. I'm not sure about the Iron Man Match, though.

The 15 Minutes of Fame Match has been amended to Iron Man style, I believe, which is close enough to what I was suggesting. They're only little baby steps, but the point is, the WWE is taking steps. My point with this thread was, though, that if you are sick of the WWE and TNA's shitty writing and shitty wrestling, ECW at least provides a little reprieve from such crap. Even if it does only last for 15 minutes a week. Just ignore that one of the four participants is meant to be an Asian portraying a cowboy. It really doesn't get in the way of the fun.

Jimmy Wang Yang was recognised by the WWE as "the most underrated of the year" in WWE Magazine. It doesn't signify much, but you have to believe that the WWE knows they have this fun wrestler under contract, and is capable of doing what they've given him so far.
