Ric Flair will go over at the Rumble, but honestly, if they play their cards right, the Rumble could be a huge passing of the torch. Put Jeff Hardy over Randy Orton, MVP over Flair, and have CM Punk win the Royal Rumble. New era upon us.

The whole 'New Era' thing happens this time every year doesn't it? Once Wrestlemania is over it'll be business as usual.

And by business, I mean Triple H, Undertaker, John Cena, Shawn Michaels etc.

Not really. I mean, that's kind of true, but it's all really been one big "hold onto the past stars as we push Cena/Batista" party. A new era would really need to get some of these guys to bow out.

ie. Ric Flair retiring, someone without a serious list of injuries winning the Royal Rumble, etc.

Matt Hardy will cost MVP the match at the Rumble.

I still stand by my prediction that the WWE will completely forget about the MVP/Hardy feud.

That would be great, however I'm giving it a 1.3% chance of happening.

The only one who really should wrestle Flair in his last match is Shawn Michaels. WWE would only squander what should be an outrageously huge boost for a younger talent. At least you know Michaels/Flair is a sure to put on a great match, especially at Wrestlemania.

Not at all. But I did think (like RP) that MVP could beat Flair, but Flair could then work his way into the Rumble and win that.

As ttetf said, I think Flair's last match should be with either HBK or HHH.
