Wow. So WWE bounces back with about a half a million viewer gain....

Raw's up to hours of 3.5 and 3.3 as of last week, with the top hour doing 3.7 million viewers. It's not quite up to what it was as of the Rumble, but it's better than being down 1.3 million viewers.

Kane Knight 02-27-2008 10:05 AM

Sorry, I meant 5.7, not 3.7. If they were at 3.7 million viewers, they'd REALLY be fucked.

Yea, but of course nobody knows who Flloyd Mayweather is, so it couldn't possibly be him right?

It's all Cena

Of course, Mayweather was on the show where the ratings started to tank again, wasn't he? MAINSTREAM APPEAL BAH GAWD!

It could have something to do with the ratings normally improving nearing Mania, a simpler solution.

The Rock was on TV for .3 seconds. This is why the ratings went up. :shifty:

Spoiler:
It was because Cena Won.

Not disagreeing with you, per se, but you can't expect everyone to know about Mayweather right away. I'm not sure when he started getting coverage for appearing on WWE TV, but I know it didn't happen immediately after No Way Out, which might delay the spike in ratings.

Of course, WrestleMania does usually boost the ratings, however, I wouldn't have expected them to go down after the Royal Rumble if that was the only factor. Ratings usually do have multiple factors, and I think Mayweather has a little to do with the bounce back, even if it is just curiosity as to what the fuck the fool thinks he's doing.

The rating next week will be a good indicator of whether or not the WWE is doing their job heading into WrestleMania: If it stays where it is, or climbs, it means they're doing a good job; if it drops, then it probably means that any increase was for Mayweather, and people thought it was a bad joke.

Jericho's on a roll. So are the ratings.

Mysterious.

I think we forgot someone here...

Paul Burchill was on tv, that's why the ratings went up.
