Hey.

My promotion FINALLY got someone to do the DVD's for us, so I have some recent stuff on the way.

I've ripped my matches from the discs, but they are too big for youtube etc. So until I get some programme to edit them down, I've used Megaupload (would of used move maker to split the files, but for some reason it's not working)

Here's my first most recent match, it's from Weston Super Mare in January this year. I know I look out of shape, sadly this is the best shape I've been in ages. I was up to 18 stone (250 pounds) about a year ago I've lost more weight since this match, I'm now down to 210.

Anyway, this is a face/face match, with some chain wrestling in there, it's not my best effort, but at least it's recent:

I'm ripping some more stuff now, before the end of the month I should have 3 or 4 matches to add. Feel free to have a look and tell me what you think, I know I'm not that good, just wanted to share some of my more recent stuff.

Okay I guess I'm the only one who watched it so far so I'll just point out a few things.

I loled when that guy botched the front flip kip up thingy. I noticed you were trying to get a reaction out of the crowd a lot. I also noticed that you worked on his arm and he worked on your leg and I think it would have been better in my opinion if only one person was doing that instead of both. Chain wrestling is okay for a little while but when it's through most of the match it kind of gets boring. An example of a good match to follow would be Chris Benoit vs Kurt Angle where Chris was out-wrestling him and Angle got frustrated and then switched to brawling and doing suplexes and stuff. Not bad though. It's pretty interesting to see a poster in an actual wrestling match. How tall are you btw?

Just to give you some background on the old school British wrestling scene, most matches used to be that back and forth chain wrestling for anything up to half an hour sometimes, the promoter wanted us to capture that and then build into a normal standard finish, so that’s what we went for, this isn’t what most of my matches go like, you’ll see that when I upload some more of them.


I’m 6 foot with those boots on, as they have some lifts in them, normally 5’11

First of all, wow. Great stuff. The Dave Mercy/Jason Fury match was really good. And you both look in great shape. I've only met Fury a few times, but he always seemed like a really cool guy. Didn't he go through trouble with alcohol and started missing loadsa shows? He seems to be doing great either way. Really good match with a surprise ending and some really cool spots.

Just a suggestion, that botched flip he did... you should email that to wrestlinggonewrong.com. I lol'd when that happened, and your reaction was awesome.

As for the LMS match, that was cool seeing that again. I've always remembered that promo Steele did about your pregnant (at the time) fiance which was really good and then you going in the match all guns ablazing. I kinda skipped bits at the end because I had to go to work, but it looks as though some of the end was missing... wasn't there an elbow off the top rope onto a chair or summit?

Anyway, that's enough from me... overall... :y:

I'll download the tag match when I get some more time... if CSF release DVD's lemme know coz I'd definitely get some.

Cheers, yeah Fury did go MIA for a couple of years, he’s been back for 24 months now and hasn’t missed a step.

Was the finish cut off the LMS match? D’oh, yeah he elbowed me with a chair on my face. I was re-watching that one last night, but didn’t watch the finish, re-watching that match is cringe worthy for me now, as I don’t work the crowd nearly enough and the spots are mis-placed, I know if we were going to do that match again it would be different, plus Alex was meant to be the heel, but when we started CSF in Yate, most of the fans were friends and family, so they pop for Alex and then are silent during other places, the atmosphere is a lot better now.

I picked up a bunch of DVD’s off my mate this morning with my Crispen Bufflee stuff on it, I’ll explain that lot later on tonight, it’s a little different….

CSF do have DVD’s for sale now, I think it’s only at the shows, you can check www.csfwrestling.co.uk, I think we might have some on sale there

Found a free video editor online last night, so will spend the Easter period splitting up the matches and putting them on youtube, for the lazy of you who don’t want to download it.

I'll watch them when they're on youtube dave, i tried downloading them but too slow for my liking.

Yeah, sorry about that. Because they are ripped direct from DVD they are high quality, will have to lose some of that to get it streaming on Youtube me thinks

Good to see more British Wrestling, i have been in and out the ring for roughly the past 3 years, which is not that long really. Worked for BAW (British Attitude Wrestling) Which covers Silverstone, Wellingborough and Northampton in Northamptonshire and PTW (Power Trip Wrestling) which is getting to be quite a large company. With these i am mostly in Luton, Stevenage and Wakefield. Great fun though!

Really like shows, everyone is friendly enough. Maybe just a little more funding into it (as im sure most companies need) and i think PTW could be amazing. Pete does a wicked job, and should make some money from it. He is a top guy.

As for the red ring, was very nice to wrestle in, had a bit of a bounce to it also if i can remember rightly! lol

Just watched the whole of that match v the mexicans, ok stuff imo, the crowd never shut up do they? lol Unlike in wwe crowds!

I admit that sadly some of my better stuff isn't on DVD, this is just what I have to hand right now and can rip without much problems (some of the discs are just 1 track that lasts 2 hours long, having some trouble ripping them)

No probs, it was an alright match, nothing bad about it. Still cool to see.

Yeah, it's number 11 on that 'list'

Honestly, for a big man, I think he's pretty good. Does stuff that big men shouldn't do, like moonsaults.

But quite a few of those on that list were there because of political reasons more than based on actual ability, watch the match and you can make up your own mind.

Dave, I'm impressed. I'm too small to even consider getting in the ring, but as cheap as training sessions are here, it's always been something of mine to want to do.

I rarely travel outside of the south west area now, I did do a shitty little show in Handsworth years ago, but that’s about it, think that’s near Brum
