What kind of games do I buy for it?

Do they still have neato Nintendo games like Super Mario and Mario Kart or what? I really haven't been on the video game scene for like 10 years other than John Madden Football.

these are my reccomendatioins.

Load up on some Wii points and hit the Wii shop channel and grab some VC games.

Super Mario Galaxy is definitely awesome. If you want a second Wiimote, grab WiiPlay or whatever it's called. It's not a great game if you buy it alone for 40 bucks, but if you buy it avec Wiimote and it's like 8 bucks, you might as well.

Speaking of accessories, the Wii Zapper is only 20 bucks, which is great considering how fun Link's Crossbow training. I mean, I know the game is just a stupid bunch of minigames and all, but it's a fun bunch of minigames, if you're gonna snag the zapper anyway.

Most of the games I own are actually VC games.

Def get the zapper. Link's is awesome.

I'm gonna grab the pistol holder thing and RE:UC, unless it needs the nunchuk :(.

I would say Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart when it comes out, and Super Smash is a fun play as well.

I recommend Umbrella Chronicles if you like shooting zombies (who doesn't?) and Zack & Wiki, although the last one is not for everybody. Gotta be very patient because some of the puzzles can take quite a bit of time.

You should get Mario galexy first though.

Super Paper Mario is good, but it's not as great as the first two Paper Mario's. Chances are you'll only play it once. It's still a great game, but the first one is available for download in the Wii Shop channel. If you enjoyed that, get Thousand Year Door on the Gamecube. And if you liked that, then get Super Paper Mario if you have the cash.

Not really digging all the talking though. Like I will walk 5 feet then have to talk somebody and listen to like 10 minutes of dialogue, then bam bridge unlocked then talk to some other guy. Does it get better?

I thought the dialog was soooo funny. Dunno, I got a big kick out of it. There is a lot of it though, and if you dont dig the humor its gonna get old for you.

I'd say besides the obvious ones, u should also get Okami, its a fuken awesome game.

what you do is mod that bitch with wiikey and play homebrew emus and shit, thats the best you can get out of it like i did....i just got done beating ALL the Splatterhouse games....

You can buy them in a store or use your credit card (in the Wii Shop Channel). In stores, they're usually kept with the accessories.

yeh it would be nice to have a achievements system for the wii, but alas you must pay over 20$'s to play games u can easily emulate on ur pc.
