The first stream I tried was great. Sometimes the screen would freeze, but I just paused and unpaused real quick and it fixed the problem. LoL, the biggest interruption was when the Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle match was about to start. It suddenly transitioned to the CM Punk vs Miz match from ECW. Thankfully, that didn't last long and I did get to see the entire match. |

Hence why there is so many streams tonight. I bet every one of them has an SS logo in the corner! The Calzaghe fight that was PPV everywhere, there was one shitty sopcast and maybe 4 decent streams.
I wonder how many Americans watch PPV's streamed? And how it affects the buyrate? And if they can measure the viewrate in anyway? So many questions... |
I don't think it affects the buyrate too much. I mean, the people who watch it on the shitty online streams probably simply wouldn't watch at all: period. Stream or no stream, they won't pay $50 for a PPV.

If wrestling was good again I'd gladly pay the $30 / month to check out the Pay Per Views. Unfortunately, it's very predictable and often disappointing.
I personally don't know if it's because I'm just older now, and have watched it for so long. Or, if it is because wrestling is so unbelievably predictable. I'm sure some of it has to do with the internet; but other than that wrestling seems to follow the same pattern over and over again. For instance, I KNOW that Kofi Kingston is going to end up being a jobber before long. I KNOW that the Great Khali is going to start putting people over like crazy. It sucks. |
Yeah but then there are still matches like batista v hbk to look forward to, and matt hardy v mvp..etc, its a decent card tonight.

Some of those streams are really good. I know if it was pay x ammount to watch on TV or fuck all to watch on my laptop, it wouldn't be a tough decision for me.
